I am trying to make a character for farming not really interested in salvage goods but it's a bonus I guess, just need to make raw cash.

In terms of just coming home sitting down and making a few plats before the night is over, could someone who knows about these classes suggest one over the other?

Or maybe pros/cons? I know now that animist have their other lines they are really viable, so if they are good I would prolly make one of them, but I feel like the downtime might be a little much. As for enchanter I love having speed on my chars, but am worried I might have to cloth tank a lot if my pet dies and I am trying to pbaoe.

Please help me out, and thank you in advance.

Both are good. VERY good when it comes to pve solo farming.

I'd give the slight edge to enchanters simply because you can get groups in rvr and get some rps (even on a pve farming toon).

You get serenity 2 or 3 and Mcl 1 or 2 on a chanter to kill the downtime... It will rain plat.

Cant go wrong with an animist tho, either.

For solo the animist might be abit faster, but its not that common to get decent groups for rvr as animist. With enchanter its easier to get grps and as duo the ench-ment is faster than animist with anything else in duo.

Thank you guys very much for the help, I never thought about it from an rvr perspective.

I think the chanter will suit my needs better just because I hate trying to farm the rps I need on a char not wanted lol, even if it is just for serenity. Having speed definitely is another perc too :D
