Hello!

I am currently thinking about which reactive effects to put on my armor and I'm wondering if it is at all useful to add some ablas. I know that abla effects (crafted/VW selfbuff) don't stack themselves, but how about the chance to proc? Does it stack? (In other words: Will the chance that an abla effect procs be higher on armor with abla+vw selfbuff than with vw selfbuff only?)

Thanks in advance for any input. :)

I think VW Selfbuff is enough, but the proc chance does stack.

dont cast your self abla (value 90) and put abla proc on your armor (value 100)

The chance stacks but the buff does not. So it's sortof waste if one procs while the other one is still active

Just get ablatives. With self abla, proc abla it's almost certain you will finish a fight with 2-3 procs.

Only other solution is to buy a robe with hp proc if you can afford one.

Oh wow this thread is a bit old. Thanks though for the additional input. I ended up getting ablatives and don't regret it. And by feeling(didnt do any tests) i can confirm that the proc chances do stack.

@Feuille: Why wouldn't i cast my abla selfbuff?
I'd only see a reason for that if the selfbuff proc would be "considered" first during a hit event and prevent the crafted proc from triggering[on the same hit; generally the crafted proc overwrites the selfbuff], but even so, sacrificing the additional chance for potentially +10 hp doesn't seem worth it.

because of this situation :
1- u are hited for 80, u'r self proc abla proc.
2- u still are hited for 80, and u absrob a part of the dmg (40)
3 again as 2, so you have only 10 abla dmg left (90-40-40) and you proc an armor abla. damned it doenst stack... and u stay with your self used abla..

in this case you lose the oportunity to absorb 100 more dmg ^^

that's why i prefer dont cast my self abla

Yes it doesn't stack unfortunately..but, at least during my tests, the crafted abla proc always overrules the sefbuff abla proc. Not sure if it's because it has a higher value or simply because its another "type", but it definetely does. (unless it was changed recently, tested it some months ago)

So...

3- You get hit and your selfabla has only 10hp left for next hit, but your armor abla procs, it doesn't stack, BUT it still works since it removes the selfbuff abla proc.

4- 100 hp to absorb :)

And who knows how high is the proc chance of armor abla? Not to mention you get mighty 10 dmg less with armor proc^^ (if you dont use self abla)
