Some old ra tools show info about an 2 seconds casttime cap.

Well i can't remember such a cap and current cap on live is 1 second.

So what its going to be like? 1 sec? Or was there a 2 second cap?

on bard. Is that too much with 2 seconds cap? Or is it 1 second anyways?

Anyone knows?

If there was 2 seconds cap you could run with grey buffs. There is no such cap.

if I recall correctly there was a hard cap on cast speed on live but it was not 2 seconds it was infact 40% of the delve cast time.

i.e.

base life tap delves for 2.5s

2.5*0.4 = 1.0s


base nuke delves for 2.6s

2.6*0.4 = 1.04s


spec nuke delves for 2.8s

2.8*0.4 = 1.12s


This whole thing was really only any issue with 10% ToA cast speed bonus +25% ToA buff bonus

If you're interested there is an web-based calculator to play with, you might be able to tweek the various fields to emulate MotA and Uth dex levels.
