Trouble logging to Uthgard

Hello mates,
I was going to roll a char on hib to relieve the glorious days of OF =) but unfortunately I cannot log in to Uthgard. I do all the steps as demonstrated in the tutorial: download the client from official website, run the patcher and download the game. Then I go to settings in DAoC Portal and it says that it is a US version. I understand that Uthgard supports US versions as well now, so I change settings to have labyrinth of the minotaur expansion and English language, press the "patch" button to apply changes. Then I tick boxes on patches (like OF, old style icons), try to connect to uthgard and it shows this message after a long wait: "The client could not connect to the server specified. Either it is not online, or you used a wrong ip/port. If these are not the reason, you may try to update your client to an EU version, as this error is also displayed if the client is not supported by the server. Ping google.com: success" When trying to connect it loads v. 1.111 if that is of any relevance. So lots of letters, main question: am I doing something wrong? Any advice? Thanks! |

That is of relevance. You need V1.109 game.dll. I have no link but some in forum already posted one.

giving me this.... this program cannot update the installed verson of daoc patch 1.111 to 1.109 by Pacific because of the following reason.....
The destination directory doesnt contain any files to update.... |
