Hi everyone. I stumbled upon this server/community via the android market and saw the uthgard app to monitor DF lol. I was blown away with the nostalgia of actual leveling, something I missed greatly in the live servers. Why not raid that level 15 dungeon? So right now I have a magician, planning on turning him into a mana eld or possibly light. But it seems as though there might be a bard shortage?

I play support rather well, and can rock a bard with the best of em, but my drawback is leveling. either I spec to solo/group and gimp any major groupability, or spec for grouping and be stuck when there isn't anyone for dps on. Any tips on this here? I play some evenings US EST, kinda casual addict you could say. might get some play time during work too

I also intend to roll a shade (Celt if that's possible) otherwise Luri pierce. won't have a problem there as i can solo just fine but the bard is where i'm going to struggle so i could use some tips on the leveling specs.

Welcome to Uthgard! I will say US evening and nighttime is lower population due to most being European. Prime time is around 1-2 central I would say. First off I will say mana is best to lvl with up to Thid(44-49) on Uth. In Thid and after I would suggest most Light for nearsight and some mana for disease. Now you mention you are good at bard. I will say this the eld won't go on many raids due to it isn't a raid class. The bard on the other hand should have no issue finding a group to level 97% of the time. The bard is also able to raid and rvr. Just a thought before you lvl an eld that is restricted to just rvr and no access to raids for gear/cash/etc. Like you said there is a shortage of bards in the US evenings who wants to RvR. On the nightshade I don't believe it possible to be Celt I have not seen any. Just elf or luri and we all know which is better . Leveling is slow but stick it out on whichever char you choose and you will get to 50.
