Hey, I've played DAoC for years, just started at Uthgard. I'm leveling me a PvE toon at the moment (druid) and I want to try a nice setup, even though I don't really know what a good setup here is but anyways, here's what I'm thinking:
1 nurt/rej druid
2-3 pbaoe
1 shield tank (Is guard any good here?)
1 bard

drop me a message or leave a post. Thanks

Agree with pweet, run with 2 tanks. It CAN be done with one tank just grab another and save yer group a headache.
Bard
druidd - full nurture
2 tanks - ANY melee class. Dont sip the true-tank koolaid. Ive tanked on
ns/ranger/vw and they do just as good. All you need is brains to taunt,
healer that pays attention.
2 bombs, dont turn dwn a third, xp will fly
Ment if you find yerself regening mana constantly. Or a tinder will do

i can bring 14lvl mana eld or 10lvl bard,if you are interested to grp with me. BUT i play ocassionaly and i am out for this weekend.
I also offer tailoring services up to early 40s for reasonable prices.
edit: warden can be good in grp too,at later lvls pbt and backup heals will help at mass pulls.

If you can take full tanks, since tanking w/o protect kind of sucks and i played both as well, none protect tanks and some with, there is a difference ;)

Yah my hero found tanling to be less hectic with protect, but i wouldnt say its impossible to tank w/o it. So if yer late night xping, and yer calls for a few tanks for fins only get you 2 ns's and a vw, show some pity. You might be surprised :)

. . .and properly specced wards can tank too :p
