So me and a friend starting here. We do have a few friends who will supply us with cash/items so that wont be an issue.
Thing is we cant make our minds what do make, either ns/ranger or ranger/ranger.

Allso if anyone could give a lvl 35/43 spec heading for those 2 chars, lvl 50 spec i can find on the forums myself :)
As a sidenote, neither of us have really done many shades in our daoc years before, not that would change anything.

Cheers,
Sal.

Minst Infi, sry you r playing the wrong realm.
In Hib it would be NS/Ranger, or anything and just go
amg get as many rp as u get, wipe
amg get as many rp as u get, wipe
amg get as many rp as u get, wipe
...
this can be pretty effective for any realm, but better be hib or alb 8)

Is it because Ranger is far easier? ;) I prefer Nightshade myself but to each their own I suppose.
[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> You have to be a c*** to be awesome at daoc
[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> that's what I learnt
[3:11pm] <Frosty_> then why does austerim suck
lordgriffon wrote:Oh by the way... ever seen a group of 8 smite clerics? Or play against a group like that? I have. Absolute devastation. The group that runs up against them can't kill them fast enough because smite clerics have sooooooo many tools at their disposal combined with decent ranged damage with 8 of them dudes doing it!

ranger+ns is pretty awesome, just go for mos4-5 with the ranger, critshot others and wait for your ns mate to perf/sidestun/garrote & poison kite them doooown. All scrubs will fall.

I too would also recommend going with NS and Ranger as opposed to 2 rangers. The reason is that with a NS along with the group you can have the ranger pull em w/ bow while u wait for em to come running and drop em w/ a perf. 2 rangers are not bad, but you dont have that burst dmg that the NS posseses. Also, down the road (looks like a long time down the road) they will switch to classic RA's. When this happens rangers will be essentially useless w/out a NS near them. Rangers will lose MoS and instead of rangers being assasin hunters we will now be the hunted ones.
