Hey all,

since i havent played Shrouded Isles expansion and i know that SI dungeons will be the place to get gear than im curious about the raid classes. Will the hib raid classes be same over there as dragon/legion/SH raid classes so far ? Druid/Bard/Shield/Ani/Menta + occasionally also bomb?

+ also, which classes are most wanted?

Not much will be different, going to want a couple shield tanks, healers and animists lol. Warden bubble and DA will always be a +.

And to be honest, there is very little stuff that you absolutely need to get from the SI dungeons. That's what made classic DAoC so great - yes, there was gear, and different tiers, but overall it didn't matter very much (with the exception of a small handful of weapons...).

This, the only things I would be worried about getting are a chest piece for the heal proc and a weapon if your a melee class(thats only if it has a good proc).

Healproc or Galla Weapons are for Soloplayers.
In 8vs8 or zerg it was and will be no problem running quest jewelery + crafted items.
Only PvE guys think they need those items to compete, while they give almost no bonus in a real RvR situation.

lordgriffon wrote:Oh by the way... ever seen a group of 8 smite clerics? Or play against a group like that? I have. Absolute devastation. The group that runs up against them can't kill them fast enough because smite clerics have sooooooo many tools at their disposal combined with decent ranged damage with 8 of them dudes doing it!

I agree that they are not needed but as far as min/maxing they are the only things that you really need to worry about.

The main raid classes for galladoria were:

1. enchanter
2. buffbotdruid
3. manamenta

all logged by the same guy, running through galla at 5 or 6 am before school/work, killing most of the bosses directly after respawn before anyone else could. good old times... wondering if those times will come back or if they make custom nerfes...
