is the current guide stickied at the top relevant? or will there be other places togo Help you fellow hibbies! we need to lvl to the top.
If the current guide isnt relevant can anyone give a rough idea of how to lvl quickly.
I will most likely be playing a bard, and my brother an animist.

From 1 to 5 just do starter Quests.
Then go to your main trainer and pick your class.
Then gather some people and hit stuff around Mag Mel and be excited like everyone else to explore the new World.
Really no need to rush leveling imho. Getting to know people and classes and chatting while XPing will be a little adventure of its own.
Also always pay attention to the chat, its a source of valuable information (just don't believe everything you read there :P).

That's just my opinion of course.

hard to say, it depends on how much effort they put in correct mob locations and how much data they researched. All in all it will be similar to Uthgard 1.0 I guess, and I hope they put good respawn timers in and enough mobs to feed the crowd.
In the years I forgot many mobs, their levels etc. its good to have an guide advisor for hibernian sight seeing tours. :-)

Also, dungeons are always the same so take their presence (and level range) for granted. :)

You are aware that a lot of the quests we once had will be gone because they did not exist during 1.65?
There probably will not be any way around it, you will have to club a few beetles in your time.

What makes you think Genesis was remotely accurate to 1.65? Players there don't start in the classic locations and they have instant npc teleporters all over.

Yes, there will be tasks though.

Can staff confirm that tasks are in the game?

They advertise 1.62/1.65: http://daoc-genesis.net/index.php/genesis/the-vision

I know it's not exactly the same but it's all we got at this point. Also if the Hib leveling guide is accurate then Genesis is remotely accurate to test things out. If the guide is not accurate then the Devs/Mods should take all the worthless posts down.
