thanks for turning this thread into a ****** :>
sadly, although hib has the most interesting classes for me personally, i really didnt have a good experience there. lots of argueing, elitist behaviour, many people just being unfriendly in general....pretty weird. what a waste of nice class designs...

What if we notice trends during beta? Trends that might be harmful to server population? Wouldn't we be concerned?

Well guess what? Players don't do trends and they don't do things that are no fun. If this is a big enough chore people won't do it. They won't roll hibs, they won't go to bgs, they won't try and find a fight without map and silly long porters. They will say screw it, im gonna take my significant other and get some ice cream and then we are going to go for a walk.

That was their spare time much better spent.

Not only is the game 20 years old the players are older too. More responsibility, not less.

Players can greatly contribute to a server if you let them.

Uthgard, still the best server. Thanks, Devs.

I've met a lot of nice people on Hib. No one was an absolute ahole to me. I left Hib because sitting as a level 20 nurt/reg druid on LFG, asking in /AS for 7 days straight and not getting a group pushed me to chose alb or mid on release. I had to solo most of those 20 levels as well, which wasn't easy.

Hattrick said it best "if the character isn't able to pbae, drop shrooms or cast mana regen then people don't want them in their xp groups."

My entire time in hib was this. I rolled a BM, ranger, NS, and druid. Getting a group was damn near impossible. I now play on Mid and have been grouped since level 5 the entire time. Perhaps down the road I will try Alb before release and make my decision on which realm to play.

not sure why you had an issue getting a grp as a druid, they are always in high demand on hib, did you join a guild?

That's why I picked druid, figured groups wouldn't be an issue. And I did try with 2 guilds. Its a long story, lets just say it wasn't a great experience for one guild, and the other was no fault of the person I reached out to for the invite.
