Hey All,

Well - I am officially taking the plunge returning to DAoC. Given that Camelot Unchained won't be out until late 2017 - mid 2018, I figured this would be a great way for the gamer side of me to get its persistent MMO entertainment fix. I played an Albion Scout pre-ToA; however, once Mordred came out, I shifted the majority of my time to a Spiritmaster. I have played various hib characters here and there - but never really anything late game.

I have decided to roll a (Envenom / Viper / Bleed / DoT) Nightshade when the game officially launches (with Alchemy). This is mainly because my core set of gamer friends really don't have an interest in returning and stealth really is the only safe way to wander around solo. I want to sink my teeth into the game - but not sink my life into the game. In other words, I envision playing about 2.5 hours an evening and more during the weekends. I will have a basic template - but not going for any of the super expensive items because #1 - Nightshades will not be getting those type of groups and #2 - I won't be farming mobs. Most of my gold will be going into Alchemy and my personal supply of potions and poisons. Perhaps I can make some coin later making potions for people.

So - with that said... any Rangers or Nightshades out there that are interested ... reach out to me. Name will be Lucilius in game (Luci right now on Hib in Beta because have a Shaman on Midgard named Lucilius).

I'm down to start a stealth guild, there was a guild on uthgard many years ago called blood oath

all stealth, was insane

I'm on Midgard atm but im not sure enough people from my last MMO will be joining so debating a stealth class to join a regular crew.
Would prefer to do it as a Shadowblade but i could be tempted to do a Nightshade.
I am surprised at the lack of assassins i see online. I remember it being very viable to solo in classic , especially if theyre hard on dealing with buffbots. Why so few stealthers?

I imagine is because it is beta and no one wants to solo level a stealther right now. I also believe the common approach is to not have a stealther as your first character because of the difficulty in templating out. Most people make a group friendly character to farm / group rvr.... then tempalte out a solo stealther.

If i go Hib i'll be BM or Hero first most likely.

MY brother and I will also be there part of this crew. Were starting with a MEntalist and Enchanter Duo, but will definetly have a NS's on the way. you guys guys want to get together and level together let me know.
