Hello. I'm new to the forum. I hope this is an appropriate place to put this.

I thought about when Uthgard opens making my own guild, but I thought first I should see if there's any around that might already be a good fit for me. What's most important for me is fun and friendship. I want a guild that is mature and respectful to others on the forums, in irc, and in game. There is a segment of the Pathfinder rules that I like a lot and would like to see something similar in a guild I join. It goes like this:

"Pathfinder Society is an inclusive community with a diverse membership. We are committed to fostering a safe environment for everyone, regardless of gender identity or gender expression, sexual orientation, nationality or ethnicity, religious beliefs or background, age, neurotypicality, physical ability, physical appearance, body size, or other differences."

So basically I dont want to be playing and here hateful language or jokes. I don't want to hear people screaming about 'rape em rape em rape em' when they get into a fight (literally happened in one guild I was in on Genesis). I dont want people making gay jokes or any other hateful jokes like that. I don't want people asking what my gender is.

More about me, I like RvR keep takes and 8v8. I always thought relic raids were kind of a pain but I do them sometimes. I enjoy leveling characters and like to try many characters. I think playing several characters gives a player a better understanding of the mechanics and helps them play all their characters better. I like helping people and would want to be in a guild that helps its members level and get templated up. That's not to say I expect people to get powerleveled but if guildies are similar levels there's no reason they cant help each other level. and if peeps are getting into the high 40s and close to 50 it makes sense for a 50 member to group with them to balance an xp group. I'm totally for collecting seals and having fun in df even when I'm 50. I plan to craft perhaps an alchemist or armorcrafter or both.

I'm not sure what kind of character I will main. I am planning on making a hero and a druid to start with. I have the most experience on druid but I've enjoyed playing a vw in rvr and pve so I'd like to try another tank. I also like having an animist and probably other alts.

I live in the US est time zone. Will probably play a wide variety of hours as my schedule allows. Would ideally like to be in a guild that has members on at most times. I also plan to get a headset so I can communicate in voice chat with my guild or group.

So... if I sound like someone you'd like to have in your guild, please write a comment talking about your guild - who is in it, what your goals are, what your rules are etc.

And if you don't like what I've written, please just move along. We don't need negative comments.

Thank you.

I'm not sure what Guild would be a good fit but I'm sure you will find one Dark Age players range from Hardcore butt heads all the way to relaxed casuals.

Just keep doing like you're doing now reaching out and trying to be a part of the community

Hey!

You sound like quite the unique little snowflake, but I would highly suggest you look for a highly immersive RP guild or something along those lines. Hib is on the low side of the population, so maybe you could initiate such a guild creation. Off the top of my head I haven't seen a guild named <Millenials> running around, and I think the title would fit perfectly for the environment which you seek, you should start the movement. Make a guild called <Millenials> and find all the unique snowflakes lurking out there, I am sure there are plenty.

At this current time I am unfamiliar with a guild that rolled Hib during beta which would fulfill your long list of desires, also here/=hear. Good luck in your search, I am sure all the furries will come LARPing this way soon enough.
Hib - Falken (BM) / Sneakster (NS) / Kalfen (Enchanter) - Currently Inactive

Alb - Djfalken (Minstrel) - Inactive

Oh no I wasn't talking about being a forum coordinator or anything. Just as I browse the the forums. I hear more chatter and more chatter about guilds getting together doing some active recruiting, making it very well known that they are alive and are ready to thrive.

Over here on hib it's kind of meh....meh... only one or 2 groups even posting.

So just like anybody if I can't find a good guild to join I'll start my own

Maybe that's because the majority of people don't even read the forums. You're better off meeting people in-game and going about things that way, IMO.

Edit : Not to mention that those who communicate on forums are typically the ones with a group of people they have / will play with already.

Even though it would be nice to have people on the forums to form up before hand. I have to agree with @Kazyo on this one. Most people just don't wanna be bothered with the forums.

Enchanter - Rounder
