Hey guys I was trying to figure which faction was "underdog" and figured this one was, so I decided to join. A year or so before WAR:Online was released I played DAoC for a little. I honestly forgot everything so it will be like playing for the first time... I have many questions, and would love if someone could be my "mentor" so I can PM you questions on forum etc...

Quick Question. I Havent played yet but made a Slayva(I forgot name?) Way of grove. Put like 10 in int 5 in Qui rest in Dex I think. Did I mess up?

Also is Animist good for RvR/PvP? I love summoners and really miss my necomancer in Diablo... Is that a bad summoner class for PvP? If yes, is there any good rvR summoner classes for RvR/PvP? Just so confusdd I dont wanna play the game with a messed up character esp for RvR. That will be the primary thing I will be doing is PvP and I guess PvE for gear?

Also if Animist is good for RvR, what spec to go? I just want a good PvP character... losing my mind!
Also if Animist is bad, what class should I go/attributes? I just dont know what attributes to choose for each class... So confused. I dont even understand half of the attribute meanings. Or even which attribute for which class, because from the looks of it not all casters/mages use same attributes...

Quick is useless on any caster.

15dex/10int or 10int/10dex/10con are always safe bets on casters.

Animst ist realy good fpr PvE and okayisch in PvP.

Overall a Mana specced Enchanter should better fit.

As for Animist you can use him in some situations good in PVM.

As for the spec you should skill him fully into the arboreal path (the others are more or less useless, especially the verdant path). You have the highest damage for your fire and Forget spells, high constantly damage for your baseline lifedrain spell because it lies in the aboreal path.
And you also receive root pets which may be usefull in some RVR situations. The arboreal path is -the- damage spec line for animists.

In RVR you are very good in defending keeps or walls but since your turret pets are static you cant really use them much in openfield RVR. But therefore you have the highest direct damage fire and Forget spell in hibernia (around 220 damage in the end) and root.
But the animist is more like the nec you used to Play in Diablo, he has a lifeleech and masses of pets to summon (though they are static).

The enchanter class only uses one pet which follows you around. But These pets are Kind of usefull too. You have one tank, one healer (which heals at HP lower than 50% hp i believe) and a caster pet which adds up to your range damage and slows down your target or debuffs resistance.Additionally you have a basline stun spell and the Option to do high single damage (light path) or PbAoE damage (mana spec). With the mana spec you are very welcome in PVM Partys but you also lack in ranged damage with your baseline light spell.

But so is the animist with his pets. I think animist is a Little more complicated to play (and maybe more interesting) whereas the enchanter is good for Starters and soloplayers in rvr as well, because he got Speed and a pet following him behind. Animists arent that good in solo RVR.

Just to add an animist is very good in keep defense and can single handedly save the keep with his pet trap in the lords room.
