Hey guys, like many of you I played DAoC back in the day and am excited to return! Hibernia was my main realm and I plan to rejoin my magical brethren. Although I've read of some issues like some camps not spawning correctly and being the least populated realm in general, Hib is still the way to go. Hopefully the camp spawn issues aren't so bad that they seriously impact leveling Maybe the lower pop makes people friendlier to the newbies too

I played a void eld so very long ago, but I've read that bolts aren't working right so I probably won't go that route again. Was wondering what's a good class to get groups for PvE, can solo if needed, and is in demand currently. Thinking about eld (mana or light) again, champ, vw, or warden. Will probably stick mostly to PvE for my first char to pad the way for my more RvR oriented follow up char.

So far I've read of a couple casual guilds looking for recruits, hopefully I can join one of them soon too! What's the majority location base of players on Uthgard/Hib, Europe I'm guessing? I'm in US West, are there many others out there?

Welcome back to Hibernia. If you really enjoy Eld I would go mana eld for leveling and then you have a few viable specs later on, and bolts may even be working as intended then. Our casual friendly guild Entry Level Army is always recruiting, so let me know if you're interested.

Now can a mana eld solo at all or is it solely dependent on a group?

Pretty much a group toon because you mainly want to PBAE.
