A few of us just started out here from an EverQuest community. Half of us are experienced DAOC players while some are playing the game for the first time. We're looking for some other English speakers in the low levels to play with us. Our focus obviously is going to be heavy on pvp, hitting BGs as quickly as they become available. If you want to help flesh out our group a bit, send one of us a tell!

We currently have:

Reiker - 20 Eld
Vondas - 21 Hero
Purist - 20 Druid
Kondor - 22 Valewalker
Briyona - 20 Blademaster

And a couple others. No official guild as of yet as we want to stay in the starting guild to get to know lower level players, but we may create one in the future.

We play evenings/nights EST.

Haven't heard from anyone else starting out though, could definitely use some more guys to flesh out our group.

Hey Rahnza, I just started out today with installing the game and fixing it for Uthgard. Since I don't like to solo I hope to do a tryout with your group.
My daoc experience is Old Frontier -> Trials of Atlantis and I had a rr7L4 cleric
I'm not certain what I'm going to play yet but since melee groups seem to be popular I'll try BM.

I'll try to contact you ingame in the coming days.

We're running Koalinth atm, group average is level 20. We really, really, really, desperately need a Bard. If you're good we'll outfit you!

My Animist is 22 now and I can level with you guys if you like.. otherwise I have a 43 eld sitting in Wilton waiting for the final push to 49.9 if you need more bodies while XPing!

Sit down with the valewalker player, explain to him that a VW is perhaps not an optimal choice for competetive endgame PvP and have him reroll a bard, problem solved ;) The rest will happen along the way. I think there is a broad consensus amongst players that a smaller group can XP more effectively than a FG; unless the FG consists of highly experienced, dedicated players and includes some non-PvP classes (like animist). So if I were you, I'd stick with your 5-man setup and pick up people as you progress through the game.

well in rvr they could need more as well as albs :>

so there is a greater chance that they will try to reach end pvp and maybe they will get through the valley of pain and tears at the beginning. it is very hard but it is worth it :)

ps: welcome to uthgard !

Go to 'STATISTICS' there and you will see the following:

(last 7 days)
Hib RPs: 34%
Hib Players: 34%

Mids are the one realm that can actually use some players. Each realm has it's share of players who only PvE except during relic raids, it just that on each realm that % of the players that RvR varies. So it's not a question of whether a realm needs players.. it's a question of whether a realm needs players that will participate in level 50 RvR!!

I think the EQ players chose Hib because it most looks like EQ.
