You hit yourself in the balls over and over again getting ganked, rolled, dying to assassins, then you give up and:

3. Make an assassin.

Get on TS and get to know people. Become well known. It helps a lot.

A lot of people love to try and "beat the odds" or win as the underdog class/realm. Creates a bigger challenge. Keep looking!

Ask in forum whats a needed RvR class. You didnt ve to waste your time lvling an animist if u want to mainly RvR, would ve taken u 2mins of asking

NOt so much in B4 close, but I will try to make some useful points. I only play mid (Hunter), but I rarely fight at AMG (Same players fighting the same enemies at the same place with silly 'no adding rules" ...best for me to avoid).

OK, here are some of my thoughts:

Lev 50 and RR4L2 is best described as DAOC adolescence. You can do a lot but you are not ready for the Emain AMG dueling pit. Especially if you are not a RVR centric class or one who is in the typical RVR group format.

My best suggestions for Newly hatched Thid graduates:
Play when there is a higher population. I'm guessing your in NA. EST is decently active enough but I wager PST is tough. The more people on the more people there are to play with.

If you want an RVR group, create an RVR group. Chances are there are between 1 and 7 others who are as bored as you. If you only get 1 response...congrats! you are now a duo! Go cause chaos against soloers!, 3 more and you have a small man group. Dont be picky. MOst classes combinations can work together (except 2 animists which causes the world to self destruct). The THID battleground is where you meet and get to really know other players. Its like Highschool, When you go through Thid with someone ...they are a friend (or enemy) for life. If somehow you didnt meet enough folks, consider making and alt and hit thid again. Many players keep a Brae/Thid alt for slow times and quick fun.

Everyone on the server knows the enemy. But know their behaviors! The Uthgard behaviors.

1. You cannot take the RR7-10s at the Emain AMG. But have you ever thought of tackling the RR4-5s crossing the Odins AMG? the Hadrian's MMG? They are coming across like you are.

2. Barely anyone Xps in Alb frontier. But many XP in Hib frontier and Mid frontier. Find the frontier leveling spots. Know several locations and how to move from one to another ...make a loop. If a realm doesnt have DF, then they are likely more out XP in the frontiers.

3. Dodens, dodens, dodens... Heck Ive even found a few in Hall of the Corrupt. Again follow the DF strategy above. Either go inside or wait for people coming towards Dodens

4. Again few use Alb frontiers, but many use Mid. Find the horse routes and ambush. I know a lot of hibs hate the fact that I ambush people off their horses (and the Mids waiting at AMG hate me too) ...but I have yet to care.

If your having trouble targeting Realm guard archers atop the walls for kill tasks. Move slightly to the right. The LOS is always a bit to the right when facing archers.

Speaking of kill tasks. KNow where your enemies will be going. Archers/casters cannot task on Hib keeps (no LOS at all). So if there is a HIB controlled keep in Albion or Mid you know that lower rank players are going there to task. In fact I'll likely be one of them. Wait inside ready to pounce. PLan on what they will do to try to escape (Taskers are like fish...their first instinct when threatened is to escape). Get the Uthgard App for smart phones. It will tell you when archers are being attacked by taskers where the Uthgard herald only notes when main guard/keeps are being assaulted.

Be patient. This is slower than the action found at the professional Wrestling event at the EMain AMG (Enter Zackmid dressed like Macho Man against Svperstar as Jessy 'the Body' Ventura), but can be just as fun. Things happen on their own time.

Let me add keep takes/tasks are a perfectly acceptable way of getting higher rr and tasking is excellent rp up to about 5l5. People will give you ****** for it ( "go take keeps noob") but these same people have taken keeps plenty of times so ignore them. Often when the action is bad it is the only RP to be found on uthgard.

Seriously I was cracking up when I read this! As far as Svperstars comment is concerned just remember that Macho Man always had Elizabeth (Zacknafein) to back him up.

Seriously, what Torrential wrote is spot on accurate and how many people grind their way thru the lower RR's. Tasks, frontier dungeon, DF, and other zones besides Emain is where lower RR players can find more suitable action and work their way up. You can do it in Emain at AMG and MMG, but its rough at lower RR's and especially for certain classes like animist.
