Hi guys and girls

I'm working on a new webpage for interactive DAoC maps. If you ask yourself, where should I go to xp (alone or with a group), you can check out the levelguided maps. I'm running through the world, dungeons and the next time even more other areas to map good farmspots. Then I put these spots in the maps.

There will come more and more with the time, but handmade work is not the easiest or fastest. So don't worry, i will release new maps every week. If you have any suggestions or ideas, write it here.

I was able to zoom in on some (Firefox). Still needs quite a bit of work though - lookin' good so far however.

These maps progged in java script. Some browser could have problems if you installed a java blocker or its possible that you must update your java.

Ps. Checked the site with Chrome, Firefox, iOS safari and i can zoom in and out.

Ok I found your bug. If you zoom too much in the calculation give an error to zoom back out. Im working on it.

some really good work there.

Is there any data you could use from the community or do you want to do this solo?

I play mid so only know mid spots but if you want some mob locs etc let us know how you want the data presented and im sure we can help.

For the hibernia mainland map I set over 500 spots in about 2-3 weeks. I noticed the position, with (radius) of the area, count the amount of enemies (>= 5) and there level. To check the right level (color) of these mobs I run with a new created character through the startarea and later i checked the colors with lvl 22, 35, and 50character.

To help me it would be the best you do it equal. Find a spot, notice the loc and areaname, count the enemies, there names and be sure they have the right level (or color to your characterlevel). Later I will check your positions with a new created character at alb/mid to set the correct radius of the spot.

Befor you post many many single spots in new threads, collect the data and post it then in one pack.

And if you find maps and links, you miss in my maps, post it here too.


PS. zoom in bug solved. But now you can zoom out endless. If that happen click the house upper left in the maps.

Running to all locs with 4 chars of different lvl might work but it's easier with your mentalist charm spell + mount speed ^^
Using charm will tell you the correct lvl and no estimation.

ha your right i can see the level of charmed mobs. Ignored that all the time :)

Wouldn't it be easier if you did something along the lines of:

- Insert Character's Level: _____
- Insert Lowest Mob Level desired: ______
- Insert Highest Mob Level desired: ______

That way you don't need to establish several pre-made guides where instead - it could automatically adjust the colors to your level?

Do you plan to insert ways of narrowing searches? That allows you to choose between camps with Caster, Archer, Tank monsters or even Undead, Insect, Giant, Humanoid etc? Some players will go out of their way to have a camp of monsters they do bonus damage on.

Something along these lines:
Example wrote:Weak/Neutral To:

[ ] Don't Care!
[ X ] Crush
[ ] Slash
[ ] Thrust

[ ] Heat
[ ] Cold
[ ] Matter

[ ] Body
[ X ] Spirit
[ ] Energy



The Llyn Barfog map, I linked above - have all camps of monsters that are weak to Crush and Spirit damage (except 1 circle). Thusly, made leveling my Ice Theurgist (Ice Pets do Spirit Damage), Crush Paladin, Crush Armsman, and a friend's Smite-Cleric a very painless experience. Even farming them when they were Blue-Cons with Camp-Bonus because it was so effective and fast with little downtime.

Also suggest a "One Time Drop" and perhaps "Trophy" monsters options as well.

Good ideas Oglop. But im not the great java programer so i used some combination of existing programs. The OTD and Trophyspots will come later. And the realisation with damage bonus or malus is noted.
