Hey guys, I was just wondering what a good class would be to pick for hibernia to solo to 50 and RvR among the Druid, Warden, Bard, or hybrid group of classes really.

To level I guess its easy as Enchanter since the most important pets are in. Dont know about RvR usage of the Ench but saw quite some Ench players in Thid recently.

It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

solo class.... for rvr i would say Warden is hard to kick in 1v1

Ench, Vale, Warden

all 3 good classes

solo rvr = ns
but hard to lvl tough ^^ |

Well, after much debate I figured I'd go with warden.
I've been thinking of a spec, without shield and I'm having a hard time balancing it. Any help with this possibly? |
|
well...the normal spec would be 49 nurture, 34-39 blades, 14-16 reg, rest parry. If you want to solo rvr you may try this spec: 50 blunt, 38 nurture, 14 reg, 14 parry. Especially as firbolg you deal good amount of dmg with this spec. If you want a good defense and some group utility take first spec or change it a bit to lesser blades and more parry for example.

Ah I See.. Also how are Rangers in solo rvr and for leveling?
I have always been curious about them. |
|
rangers are ok to level .. in rvr you pretty much got the problem that there aren't much solos around .. except you specialize in assassinating assassins ^^

Rvr chars:
Hero- for me one of the best class for rvr but you will really need to do hard work till you reach proper rvr experience, skill and items. BM- Shield bm is good for lvling and also very good in rvr VW- perfect lvling grp char. Solo is not that hard also but it takes time cause of taunt as the only anytimer style. Ward- think it's the class with highest utility. Not that hard to lvl cause of heal and buffs, good in pvp and rvr. The problem of wards is that in Hib you dont need more than 1 ward in rvr grp:) NS, Ranger- forget it as long as you want to rvr in Agramon. Dudu, Bard- good for exp (you will always find grp) but no chance for solo rvr. Fortunately Hib lack of dudus and bard so you will find your rvr grp quite fast. Eld- very hard to lvl but it's a good rvr char and almost perfect pvp. Menta- mana menta is not that hard to lvl but it's a very underestimated char in rvr:D Ench- with pets working quite easy to lvl (especially with mana menta). Pvp quite difficult, in rvr very usable char normaly (but you wont have live on Uth as only caster in grp). So. If you want easy lvling and good chance for rvr and pvp take ward. If you want normal lvl and a very good chance for pvp and rvr take BM. Hardcore play with Hero but in my eyes it's the class with best rvr utility (although it's quite rare to meet atm on Uth.) VW is also usable but i would recomend BM/Hero atm. I would recomend dudu and bard but they are pretty boring if you have only one char. Casters- atm forget them:) |
|
Ah I see... So as a solo character ranger would be no good for rvr?
Are there no other assassins that play? |
|
Well, it seems Agramon is getting better for solos atm so maybe solo ns is a good idea. But you can completely forget ranger. Bow dmg is kinda ridiculous so snipers are really rare. Melee ranger is also only good for BGs.

With the recent changes you might do pretty well indeed, we've had a hundred players in agramon last night. Xp groups and RvR groups alike. You'd find something ^^.
Personally I wouldn't recommend a ranger to a new player though. They're not exactly sought after on the way to 50 and being new and all it can't hurt to get your feet wet with a group char. |
