You'll want to reroll eventually though, the current RvR situation makes is nearly impossible to enjoy soloing on a caster. Sure, you can get a few kills but for what? Another 3 hrs of your life wasted on about 5000RPs if lucky and a lot of frustrating deaths.

If you're REALLY determined, sure, take your chances of course. ^^



Anyway luckily there's a (hopefully) bright future ahead so it certainly won't hurt if u get an Eld ready for RvR.


If you wanna solo with NF RAs, BM easily outclasses Eld all the way imo. I've got both.

First aid won't help with poisons since DOT keep you in combat.
If you want to play solo caster on uthgard I'd recommend purge3 (if you don't purge stealthers poisons you're dead). Concentration is also nice in case your QC gets resisted or purged.
I'm not convinced by MOC3 nuke, especially since the uthgard caster nerf.. err I mean the charge nerf. Your damage will be low and you cast slow, a tank will still kill you faster. MOC1 could be ok though, knowing it's bugged. You can dump moc1 + mezz, cancel your moc and stun DD.

In any case be prepared to a lot of frustration when a noob will kill you in 2 unstyled hits + poison, when a stealther will add you and interrupt before you can finish the only solo target you will find, when a ranger will arrow the target you just QC mezzed and leaves you dying etc...

Seriously I have ~150 solo kills on my eld and I wouldn't recommend this torture to anyone on uthgard especially since OF

moc pbae could probably do enough damage

btw light eld is the way to go, solo and grp (if youre not playing bomb grp). Dps is nice, utility is even better. Nearsight, disease, stun and mezzes. Esp nearsight is just gamebreaking vs casters

thank you guys a lot! I am seeing that a solo career at lvl 50 isn't going to be fabulous and I'm going to lose a lot.. So I'm not gonna dump into Ra's for it.. well not at least I'm high RR anyway. I enjoy grp rvr much more anyhow! Unfortunately I'm a USA player and I get on at a terrible time.. but on weekends I will have a blast in groups I'm sure as I get on during prime time!!

As for a solo career.. I dunno If I'd want to roll a BM.. Perhaps a S/S Champion? Anyone wanna comment on their viability in solo RvR? Or maybe I'll just bite the bullet and play a nightshade hehehe.
