I bought it :) It's working just fine. It was hard to work into a nice template due to the low utility, but once it's done, it's so beautiful!

Proc rates are just chances, I've had it proc 3 times a fight (image the face of the opponent :D ), then not at all in 5 fights or more. It's not lower than other proc rates, so it doesn't matter what you choose. Keep in mind it does not only absorb dmg, it also prevents stuns and interrupts style chains, so it's more powerful than one might think on first thought.

Stop advertising this damn 94% qua weapon!
I needed a second one for placing on both my weapons the black particle effect, and all of a sudden, thanks to your work, prices of something that should stay around 500g, went up to 4P

Well, its all about supply and deman Toten. I agree this dagger is not worth 4p. I made more then that for the one I sold Shade, but that was only because I had put 2 quality increase scrolls on mine. The only reason they are up that high in price is the word has finally gotton out about them and now people want to try them out. Here is the problem, its only 16.2 dps AND its only 94 quality. So you are only getting 94% dmg and not even on the highest end dmg per second. However, they almost need that because if they were 16.5 dps and MP they would be in almost every persons template and alot of people would run w/ one in each hand. This kinda bring them in line.

Give it a lil time and I'm sure the price will drop again as the fad to use them diminshes again. The same will happen to the Glimmer Prince offhand piercer. As more people use it and want it the price will increase. I bought mine for 250g and last time I checked they were up to 1-2p now. Its just the way the market works.

Yep, that is what i was saying, the more you talk about it, the more hype it gets :D
The better version (Shimmering Flawless with 35% bonus) is very usable as offhand weapon imo, after all, 6% dmg less on a weapon that usually does 40-60 dmg is not that much, if you consider the exchange to obtain a uber proc!
The only reason i would never use it is its terrible speed for an OH weapon. 2.9 is really too slow for my personal taste!
I found the second one i needed for 1.2P from the good Toladur!

Since we are here, i'll make you 2 questions. Do you know if Brilland version (25% bonus) and Shimmering Flawless one (35% bonus) have same identical particle effect? (I only have 2 brilliant copies)
Second question (sorry for the OT), do you know if among classical daoc and SI, there are others black particled effect weapons?

I was told that was the only black effect in the game by Abydos when I put on my effects on my weapons. Now it is possible there is some black effect weapons on SI that I am not familiar with.

I wouldn't be so sure about Abydos' knowledge on this field, when i showed him Magicco's link some time ago, he didn't know it :D

Thanks Magicco, i knew that link but i'm sure lot of people will love it!
I hope it's 100% accurate cause i'd hang myself the day that i'll discover that another black effect exists, more nice than Soulshade dagger one :|

There has never been another hib weapon with that pure-black effect that soulshade has. If it was on one of that big door-style shields, I guess a Lurikeen-Hero could go camouflage in the effect!

The blackness comes from the coolness of the bladeturn that nothing else can match :D :D

And yes, both versions have the same effect. I think I might have one or two spares in my vault, both old and new. I consider the 96q the "collector's edition" in my private stash :)
