From what I recall on the light eld its exactly what you stated. Primary is NS, Disease, then secondary mezzer with some dmg here and there when you can.

lvl 1-20 i'd go full light and nuke my way to 20, respec then to full mana and use bomb for grps or ae snare for killing grps of mobs (df is great for that until 32)
On mine I was Void 1-20 then Mana until Thid where I switched to Light.

Light eld in RvR = Disease,Snare,Nearsight and to kill slammed enemies in the back. for pve go Mana
decided to go void until 20 for leveling, then I'll respec to mana for 20-40. I chose a female Elf because Male elves sound like they are constipated when getting hit
