Valewalker and Champion are fine, too, with some ranged capabilities (rupt/dmg/snare), VW has side and back stun to compensate for a lack of shield. “DAOC is not about what you can log. At no point did a VW suck. they were always good, just became borderline OP'd later on. I played a BM from launch and then made a VW when they came out. played both for some time then stuck with VW. VW could do everything and win most fights 1v1 in straight melee. Dodger + Mast parry made me almost untouchable and let me unleash massive damage reactionary chains. Any mezzed target would die from my back stun + side chain.
