Guys, just learn to type....

/who class XX XX

/tell name LFG?(and adds specific if you need to)

Quit being spoiled WOW boys. I've never used the LFG tool and never had a problem building a group unless there just weren't and class/lv on that i needed.

Doesnt change the problem. With /who you still cant get the people that are logged on their mains but would love to find a party for their twink. Right now the only way to reliably build xp groups is a strong alliance chat.
It really is a shame, because there is no reason at all why things should be like they are right now, and the people suffering the most from it are the casual gamers. For me it was easy, I finished my 50 early and had great people to XP with within the first two weeks after launch. (Shoutout to Romme, Funguy, Zmil, Enrick etc)

There are quiet times on hib as far as xp groups are concerned. There are also times when there seems to be support classes but not much in the way of dps who are looking. Cannot speak for other realms bu that seem to be the way it is on hib.

I use the lfg tool - I leave it up while I craft or run quests etc and often an invite comes sooner rather than later.

The other thing I note is that some are reluctant to build their own groups. I have often used lfg and noted everything you need to build a group and so I start asking people. Some peeps prefer to be asked and not do the asking.

Getting peeps invited and in the same place can take a bit of time.

Good to know you're not LFG. Solo is a fine way to play it.

I had some problems getting groups on alts as well at times. I use the LFG tool at all times but most of my chars are in my mains guild and dont have access to starter guilds. Was able to build some good groups over the weekend but also ends up being some quiet times as well.

Hate to see someone go to mid cause they can't find groups but also since hib is the under pop realm, it is always harder to get groups. Highly suggest ppl just use the lfg tool as much as they can. I'm always looking for group so anyone is always welcome to msg me on any char.

The LFG flag > LFG channel. I always make my own groups. For example, /who 38 42 and start inviting. Then I do /who LFG and see who is flagged in my level range, so I'm basically using the LFG channel in a simpler way. The key to xp groups is to make your own; literally search the class you want and send everybody. Waiting around all day for people to flag themselves LFG won't cut it. You need to actively send people. Half the people crafting in TNN will happily come out if you send them with a group ready to go.

Agree with Wicon here. I usually either build my own groups or set the LFG flag and happily work on quests until someone sends a PM asking if I'm interested in a group. It may not work for all classes but as a Warden, the LFG tool works and I receive PM's pretty often.

This problem needs more attention, I came from Alb/Mid (tried stuff up to 20 then rerolled) but I hear people coming from the other two realms pretty much say the same: Hibs don't use the lfg tools available.

Supposed solutions:
* LFG channel, with post limit (to prevent discussions and spam).
* Attach the /lfg slashcommand to the ingame SET LFG.
* If people type /lfg - have them appear on SET LFG, instead of just flagging them.
* Promote grouping, tell people the benefits.

People understand you can do the whole /who XX XX <class> - but in my mind, the success rate on doing that is pretty low. Opting in to an automated system such as SET LFG work for both the LFM and the LFG. The others realms do this pretty efficiently and even there, there's a small part of the community that isn't aware of a feature like SET LFG.

On alb/mid I never spent time on the whole /who XX XX, I mostly used SET LFG - without bothering people who hand't opted in.
