HIB 8v8/RvR GUILD RE-ROLL OPPORTUNITY - LAUNCH FRIDAY FEB 17

Stridah Myrmidon Posts: 147 Joined: Jan 30, 2017 15:02	Reply with quote by Stridah » Feb 10, 2017 20:52 Great to see and some of the more competitive mid guilds should follow suit but here is the problem. -Many rolled mid because they are known the be the strongest realm at this patch level -Many of the "pro" guilds rolled mid because they saw that other "pro" guilds rolled mid -Many mid players powered to 50 putting real life on hold in the easiest realm to level -Many mids participated in keep and relic raids of questionable legality to acquire the advantages of relics and df The type of people who roll mid will claim to want competition but they do not, what they really want is to feel superior in an internet game that really requires little more then time to be good at (DOTA level mechanics not required here). So while it is an amazing thing that you will re-roll and start this guild i would expect few will follow since they are not looking for competition they are looking for positive feelings.

Actually, these "elite" guilds you speak of would have no issues on any realm, regardless of the state of the game. If people want to put in the effort, they'll succeed. Hib groups can form up and roll the rr8+ Mid groups running around if they want to. Alb groups can do the same, it just isn't as easy to PuG it.. Your statement about people rolling mid because it was the strongest patch level is true, but not for everyone. I played Midgard nearly exclusively for most of my DAoC career, this patch level had no influence on my own decision. Midgard isn't the easier realm to level in. We have the highest population, and we didn't have DF for a majority of the first 50 push (which ALB got). Mids did nothing wrong when they were keeptaking, and the "questionable legality" of acquiring the relics is bullshit. This has been gone over again and again, and the relics were reset. I'd gladly reroll if my guild elected to, regardless of which realm. I like the people I'm playing with. Simple as that.

Right now we're at least aiming to build a solid 16+ out the gate! Currently seeking those interested in a NATURALIST role. Type @everyone and everyone gets a fast text alert (if you have notifications on) Need to get ahold of @doja because something I've wanted is finally up. Can ping me. Running late from work and raid starts in 10 min? Hop on phone and post in the chat channel "hey I'll be late" or "hey can't make it" then people don't sit around and wonder and can adjust accordingly

I'm in discussions with multiple players for these last 3 spots in the 2nd group - Bard, Druid, Hero - but I'll still review applications and consider them if you meet requirements and are faster on the reply button! I'm going to have to consider what options there are for those who applied and won't be able to join with these first two groups. I simply don't know if I'd be able to organize/manage that large of a guild all at the beginning, but we'll see! Level 50 Troll of Uthgard
