Thanks for your information. I remember druid had problems with orange + mobs due to his bad melee/hit damge and the dot isn ´t that strong,- fights lasts too long so you get much damage with your bad defence = bad killspeed and more downtime. I wanted to use the druid primary for sheeroe farming, but Warden or VW might be a better choice. It ´s just about the nice pet, lonely farming could be boring but with a fluffy friend on your side it might not be that bad ![]() Warden is just more flexible, you can join dragon raids etc. as well, hmm it ´s good we have enough time until release to consider about such important questions :-D. |

Yeah its kinda bad vs orange in my opinion , I mean its either u let ur pet does the job but it takes really really long time or u dot and melee but u end up at like 15% hp xd. I dont really know wat to think about the pet tho, he hits for like 30 to 50 dmg even fully buffed on mobs. I mean your pet can kill a yellow mob alone but he ends up at like 10% hp.
Yep i guess VW is top choice for farming anyway but i feel more comfortable with my little tree and all instant from nature druid tho xd Yep really hard choices incoming ![]() |

I would see the pet like an additional damage add, so you hit like 80 + self Damage add + Pet for hmm ca. 150 total damage to orange/yellow mobs as fas as I remember in pure melee modus. But the misses lower the overall damage also you can ´t recast dot without running after pet stun, that ´s annoying for farming ![]() I always pulled with dot and tried to redot shortly before mob reaches me so it has a bit longer total duration, but with the supposed lvl. 36 nature specc it ´s damage is quite low but raise nature higher then 36 makes no sense in my opinion and even if you do so, the dot damage stays low. You need a pvm temp as soon as possible with capped melee stats and melee resists and weapon dot /reprocs , it shall become easier then. Due it ´s just for pvm and not all resists needed to be maxed a 99% set shall be enough, it ´s not that expensive. ![]() |

Hey,
Well ive been back to Sherooe Hill to try to farm warshades and striker and its actually pretty decent. the main issue is if you dot pull you have to iroot or run when ur pet stun the mob to re dot or root and heal yourself but if you pull with root and the pet tank it a bit its really fine, you can dot 2 or 3 times before the mob come to you. soloing yellow is really easy so no big deal. But yeah on orange warshades your pet hit at like 30 to 40 , dot for 80, reverse dmg for 20 , your weapon for 60 and add dmg for 30 so overall its not that bad and the downtime is not that awfull. Yeah a melee temp would be nice in that case. I tried deatwatcher (red) its a rly nightmare tho xd |

Hm, I don ´t like hit and run and kiting in pve, I ´m lazy while farming ,-) . So I would not use pet stun to redot mobs. While you run you even have the chance to pull more agro mobs on accident, specially if you ´ve lagruns. Deathwatchers should be avoided solo, some of them con purple so the red ones are dark red and you will miss a lot while receive heavy damage. I wasn ´t able to kill them easy with my full temped rr4L9 vw on uth 1, so I ´ll avoid these guys, but they ´ve nice neck drop :-D. Can you tell me something about the droprates in sheeroe too? It got worse compared to Uth1 ? |
|
Yeah not worth farming deathwatcher it was just to try if i could solo red tho. Well most of the time u dont have to hit and run anyway so not a big deal. About the loot rate in Sheeroe I dont really know havent farm that much here on Uth 1.0. For now I only got some warshades staff and glimmer spirit band and other random stuff.
But I was wondering if I rr nature druid as a first char, its gonna take a long time to farm and get money compared to like enchant or Vw etc so idk |

Played the Nat druid on release of the game and then tried it here. Either I was crazy 15 years ago or this patch level is rough. Hunting in the same spots that I loved was far harder this patch level than I remember. Of course by 1.65 I was already past leveling back in the early days, so I may have missed what these changes did.

This might be a shot in the dark, but does anyone have a video link of an 8man or smallman running a nature druid?

I played with a nature druid and they are pretty quick at farming actually.
Pull 2-3 greens with dots then melee them down. I know that is not a big deal but you will need money for temps. Since druid can sc this one toon can do everything if you just want to try one toon. https://www.uthgard.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37632
Players can greatly contribute to a server if you let them. Uthgard, still the best server. Thanks, Devs. |

Farming on nature druid not a big deal, you can farm sheeroe for warshade no problem or just chilling in Coru killing golems with really few downtimes, also bog of cullen and DF as Feuille mentionned
