Myself and a friend are goin g to start on the server again, and i was wondering what and why would be the best rvr duo we could play on this server?

please give reasons for your suggestions

bard + dps (for hib)

id prefer a BM + bard or eld + bard

lvling is smooth (esp. if the dps is a BM)

for rvr you can smash up some nasty combinations due to CC and high DPS

Add VW+Bard to the list,and you have the 3 best duos there are atm.

Reasons for this:

Eld+Bard: You get Mezz,backup Mezz,disease,Nearsight,cast Stun,Endu+Speed and a highdelve nuke that costs little mana.

BM+Bard: You get Mezz,snare,Slam,Endu+Speed and a nasty DPS Machine thats very resistant to all castable CCs.More solid but less versatile then VW+Bard or Eld+Bard.

VW+Bard: You get Mezz,snare,disease (sometimes), Positional Stuns,Endu+speed and a very strong lifetap.Does more damage then BM most of the time,but is also cced longer/more often and less solid.More versatile then BM+Bard less versatile then Eld+Bard

sign 100% , nothing more to talk about

champ + bard is nice too, but these 3 are way better imo

ontopic i would prefer for urself to do a bm or hero..

if u only want duo u can play champ/vw both really nice classes

but with bm u get faster and better group invites

also eldritchs are so needed and rare on server

Will probably have more consistent results with Bard+BM than the others. VW isn't as good in 8v8 (still gets run some, but you always run more BMs.) Eld is good and great in 8v8 but duoing with a caster can be hit or miss, yall better be fairly confident you can pull it off, keep in mind there are a lot of stealthers in the small man environment, a lot :p. Champ not so good in 8v8, BM is really best tankwise for dps, esp in duo, great snaring capability, good damage, good defense, slam, etc. You'll also fight a lot charge tanks (mostly mercs I guess.)

Also menta + chanter is nice. Petupulling + hot + pot

he asked for rvr duo, not pve

Shield BM + Bard is hands down the best RvR duo in hib. Can take out twice their number with the needed RR/skill/coordination.
