what about? someone told me that a merce do much more damage. Is so tragic the situation? really so few damage ?

I never played an Alb, but didn't the lvl50 DW style used to be awesome?

its a front positional with a good growth rate (not amazing) and a heavy bleed.


but at least on live, lvl 50 weapon styles were bugged on alb and would use your base weapon spec as styl dmg modifier, so mercs that go 50 DW 39 slash/thrust/crush 42 shield will not do max style dmg with the 50 dw style.

BMs have very similar damage to mercs, less than zerkers, but arguably better style utility (rear snare, slam) than both. With triple wield a BM should do more damage than a merc, though mercs have slightly higher growth rates on the styles available to them so when triple wield is not up the merc might do a little more dmg. Of course TW also provide crit immunity, and their RR5 is a nice escape tool.

Well, average CD-GRs are lower than those of DW and LA, but have best effects with a BACKSNARE! It is 0,6 GR, but DW backstyle is 0,6GR with combatspeeddebuff LOL!

In comparison to savages, there is not a single melee that comes close to their dps on average attacks(not peakdmg, like tripple wield or zerkmode).

but savages lack charge, shield slam, or snare styles, and trade HPs for their dmg.

Yes that's sure. Savage deals for 200 dmg 65% of time, 300-350 30% of time, 450-500 12% of time, 700-800 2% of time, and once a month they make a 800+.
Oh yes of course they hit cap speed i forgot. They always get cele in fight to reach it, sorry. (without it's 1.7s per swing)


That's just too much in comparison of a merc/bm with their 350dmg 60% of time and 450+ on the 40% left.
Oh and they hit so slow with something like 2s per swing.

Oh also, i forget that savage loose 10% hp per 15s to make that and of course they wear studded to be strong enough to compensate. Ah and if you disease them, they just have to snare you. Oh damn they don't have snare neither charge :/

Keep nerfing savage please, they are just OP.

I honestly dont know where you got those numbers from. But that much is true, a savage reaches these numbers against a chain/scale target while merc/bm reach your numbers vs non PD-casters only. While, savage doesnt need cele nor haste since they have their own cele as addition to healers casted.
Ive yet to see a warrior that outdamages a savages mainhand with his 2h hammer on A CASTER!

Savage has backstun & sidestun, BM&Merc have slam(if they spec shield), merc has sidesnare, bm has backsnare, thats the difference.

How about you try playing other realms aswell, just to see the situation from a different view?

you're absolutely right. their advanced evade IV with insane amounts of dex/qui, along with their self evade buff is just useless. also, I bet BM's studded leather is somehow stronger than Mid studded. those damn BM's are just impossible to kill :roll:

don't forget the resist buffs too. but they don't last forever (you put them up multiple times per fight) and they do take HPs.

haste/dps and a recharge of endo is almost -600 HPs.

Dmg from merc/bm i was talking are on healer.

How about you try playing other realms aswell, just to see the situation from a different view?

And maybe you need to play a savage too because every savage will tell you how awful is waiting a trio/quad to deal correct damage.
I played alb and some guildies too. Our savages played merc and they enjoyed it a lot, much more utility and power but i think you won't believe it.
Guard a caster who face the savage and you'll see what happen. Do the same with a merc/bm.

Anyway i put all this sarcasm because i'm bored of all your QQ on svg/zerk.
3 days ago we had 2 savage and one zerk assisting on one caba during more than 1 min. They dealed so much damage that the caster never died. (i know what you will say, your dps sux, they use detaunt and so on, yep keep going).
