I have just got back from not playing Daoc for a long time and i have some stuff i cant remember..

My valewalker is currently lvl 40 and i have just DL'ed that Loki template thing and i have no idea what to do with it, so i have a couple of questions.....


Can i do my template effectively without being lvl 50, say 40

What items can i get now (lvl 40) that will be usefull at lvl 50

What is the optimal way to put points in my spec... im 38 scythe 28 aboreal and rest scythe, i think around 11...

Is the parry chain still bugged..?

effectively - yes/no

there is a few items you might be able to farm as level 40 however as a VW you need some high utility items to get a good template so doubt these would be very helpful for you


on the spec thing:

Afaik you will want 50 scythe at lvl 50 and and min 34 arb.. if you want higher arb og parry after that is achieved is a choice you have to make
