Hi all,

Looking for some suggestions for my son's (he's 10 years old) celt shield hero spec - he is currently level 43 and:

42 Blades
42 Shield
14 Parry
13 LW

I was thinking of a mix of LW and Blades but now am not sure. After seeing things on the forum about block rates being overpowered and I don't know how much he will RvR - he may mostly PvE - not sure - he's 10!

Is LW stupid if you don't goto 50 for Annihilation?

Without re-speccing he could do:

50 Blades
50 Shield
14 Parry
25 LW (Gigantic Blow rear snare)

or

50 Blades
42 Shield
16 Parry
36 LW (better Weaponskill - less points leftover)

What do you plan on doing with the hero? I suppose for PvE 50 Shield 50 1h Weapon is fine, for RvR you want to go for 50 shield, 50 spear, rest in weapon (and whatever is left in parry). LW damage is currently 'bugged', but spear is working fine, I hear.

But otherwise 50 LW is recommended for the 50 backstun, yes

It is my son's character - he is 10 years old. I think he will mostly PvE, but he did play some in Brae and Wilton - so I don't really know!
