I would like to ask how many ways there're to have an horse and which kind of horse there are here.

I see 2 quest:
-one given in TNN near the stable at the entrance East. I did it many month ago and i don't remember all the points. It brings u in CF to take an horse, than u receive a ticket that u can exchange for an horse if u bring 6hays (3p) to the npc.

-one given by stable master outside dl (hib side not rvr) really difficult and bugged. u got to bring an horse (spd1) from dl passing amg while some mobs appears to kill u (every 30 secs...). u can be helped by friends, but must stay in solo and who got the quest can't be too near u and the horse. someone told me that if someone take the quest while u're doing it, u lose the horse and got to do from the beginning

-u can win the horse from trifekta near warriors trainers. really random. tickets should be pass through chars.

-in TNN at the stable there's a merchant who sells horse max 950g each. i never tried to pay because i don't know if they're just for rent or they are lower lv than the ones from the first quest.

i'm pretty sure that the first and the third should be only pve horses while the second could be used in rvr too.

As far as the quests are concerned I cant give you much information about them. I've helped one person do it once, and we were grouped while doing it and he was able to complete it. So you can do it in a group and dont have to be solo. I also know that quest (the one in which you have to take the horse from dl near atk) is for the RR5+ horse that costs a bit more, moves a bit faster, and has slightly different skins.

The 350g (i think that is what they cost) horse from the merchant that you can straight up buy is for lvl 35 and above and can only be used in PvE zones. The 950 gold horse is the same type of horse but you must be lvl 45 to use it and it can be used in PvE and PvP zones. The 950 gold horse cannot be used in BG's though.

I know there is also a RR10+ horse you can get once you achieve the RR. I also know that the 350/950g merchant horses are slightly slower then hastner speed. The RR5 horse is I believe either the same speed or slightly faster then hastner, but you must do the quest, pay ALOT of money for it, and its not much faster then the one you can buy for 950. The RR10 horse is even more expensive, I dont think its any faster, but it has some much more cool skins to it.

so, buy the horse from the merchant for 950g is the better looking at the ratio payment/gain...
