Hey All,

Trying out something new.. a Warden. So far I like it. I don't care that it takes a long time to kill mobs, as long as there is no downtime.

I am curious about how to Spec later on though. I plan on doing both solo/group pvp in the bg's and in the frontiers. I was told that there is a level 50 blunt style that works off of parry that gives you an 11 second stun. I was thnking about going that route but then it dawned on me. Even if someone doesn't purge that stun, will I be able to do enough damage to them for it to be worthwhile? I really don't think so. I have instead chosen to go with Blades. I was thinking of this spec:

45 Nurt
39 Blades
26 Regrowth
10 Parry

Would it be possible to run this spec with say 34 blades and higher regrowth?? Or is this spec fine?

Thanks.

if you want to have a solo/grp spec, blade is the way to go imo.
can't rly talk about 50blunt spec never tryed it for long time.

i would go this spec:
49 nurture last hast buff for solo and red resist for the grp.
34 blade back style for grp is nice, and you have hast debuff on parry combo.
22 parry easy to debuff hast with parry style.
17 heal 16+ extra points

Yeah I don't want to just be group only, I'd like to do some solo as well. So far I'm torn by these two specs:

49 nurt
34 blade
17 reg
rest parry

or

47 nurt
39 blade
rest reg / parry

leaning towards the first one.

Those 3 are solospecs imho.

The first one is somewhat useful for grp, if u will find one for sure, because a lot wont invite u with yellow dmg add/energy resi.
The second sounds kind of weird to me, because its a solo spec with 30% rezz which makes no sense.
The third is blade solospec.

U could try:

ur spec with 34 blades
26 reg
45 nurt
34 blades
21 Parry

> if u are mostly solo, more parry will help more than 39 blades
- maybe u wont even find a pvm grp with yellow dmg add, and a pvp grp will realise fast that u are kind of solo spec ward after buffing resist

26 reg
49 nurt
34 blades
8 Parry

> +red dmg add (u could do some raids without grp crying), red energy resi vs sorc mezz
- low parry for solo (u will need a lot mastery of parry to compensate)
- u will have problems to keep anyone alive vs a good or more than one enemy ddler (especially if we dont have magic relics)

33 reg
45 nurt /47 nurt
34 blades/ 31 blades
8 parry

> + now u can try to heal against a good enemy dd or a bad train.
- again only yellow dmg add/ energy resi and low parry for solo

33 reg
49 nurt
29 blades
3 Parry
or bit less blades/more parry

> + everything a group needs
- u wont do that good solo (especially with low rr)

Ah and btw, dont expect too much from playing a solo ward, especially with kind of healspec.
You will loose or at least not win against every other solo speced class, if u dont ur enemy just did something wrong.

You say this like soloing is an option. I don't get it.
