I got my roommate playing this game recently, and we live in the same apartment (duh). We use the same router, I am directly connected and he uses the WIFI. I was told this is how you catch people botting, even if it is on a different computer. That makes sense to me, since its quite typical to have multiple computers/laptops to bot. Will i get banned for this, even though we arent botting? He is a lot lower level then me and we haven't even group yet ( if that helps, but I do intent to later) Also, if we play on campus, he uses my log in information. I don't know if that means we have the same IP or not. Please look into this before we get to the endgame content. Thank you

§3.8 Logging in two accounts - buffbotting
Logging in two ore more accounts simultaneously is always forbidden. There are no exceptions. This explicitly includes typical buffbots and all kind of dual logins like crafters and mule characters. Any violation against this rule will be punished. The usage of a buffbot will result (besides the punishment for all accounts of the player) in a permanent ban for the buffbot. If a staffmember suspects a player of dual logging, the suspected person(s) have to obey his orders (buffbot detection tests). If a player ignores this, logs out, or out of sudden goes linkdead with one or both characters, it will be considered as an illegal dual login. There are no exceptions.

Don't do ANYTHING(on his client) if he decides to go afk to go to the store or anything though. (heal, buff, recast pom)

I'm a firm believer of bad stuff happening at the worst times.

It would be best for them to logout if they are going to be AFK.
