I play a VW and i don't know if is better PURGE 3 or DET 5 for 8vs8.
I think DET 5 is worst because VW don't have Stoicism... Well PURGE every 5 min is fine for avoid Stun, the Root is not a problem because we can Nuke with the LT... and the Mezz can be removed by a supporter.

For a VW is better have a full armor with Ablative? or with DD?
Because the Ablative from armor proc don't stack with VW Ablative Buff, well i don't know which is the better chooice.

root is a problem for a VW, for 8v8 u ve to go det5, maybe purge1.

Det5 first then Purge1 somewhere down the line is good. I'd go full ablatives on a Valewalker also.

well in my opinion every (or nearly every) char for grp rvr should take (if all 6 parts were crafted) 4x ablativ (chest,arms,legs,head) and 1x DD charge (for range insta rupt or range insta PR-kill) and 1x AF-Charge for hands n boots.

I don't really want play again a class that every retarded can play well... Charge ---> Choose Target ---> Stick ---> Style - Style - Style... And you can't comparate a BM with a VW because have a different role in a group... If you take a VW, you don't take the Hero don't a BM... VW = Peel, interrupt, Assist with insane damage (DD Style of VW >>> Any Style of BM) if necessary and possibile (VW don't have Stoicism, he can be Rooted well can only Interrupt in this scenary) and RA BOT.

The BM or Hero or all class in this game suffered the same time... Rooted? Can Interrupt with the LT if he cap DEX/INT can do good damage while Interrupting or use Istant Snare for avoid a Tank attack, you know too that a 3sec of Snare too can save a life of a Supporter that was in Kite action.
Magic stun? They suffer it. But with Resist are less than 5s and remember that all VW have PURGE, 1 or 3, they have it.
You wanna play a BM because is a class that need less skill? Good. But stop saying at people to reroll..
I play a light tank too... Have a Merc 7l DET 5 / Charge 2 and i know what a light tank can do or can't do... I very like the post where someone say: "I think that class have more utility because..." "That class can do that..." "That class can't do that..."
But i hate when someone say all the time without know what a class can do when played well: reroll that another class.

I prefer det5 + purge1 for 8vs8. And i agree about your opinions for vws. As rupter/freelancer and hardassist(if nice mezz or such) if needed works out the best.

Yeah, this is what a VW must do in an Inc.
And a VW have a good resistance, if have a 100%
Armor with the 33% ABS Buff and Ablative Proc
Buff they have a nice Damage Absorb and
Ablative almost every time up... With the
Disease Offensive Proc be targetted by a VW =
have Disease.
And is a great RA BOT, if have a decent RR, Ichor
and BAoD(Now is bugged, ok in positive, but i
don't really like use bugged RA) are very good.

Det5 +purge1 I would say too.

i felt the same way when i (after leveling to 49) realised that, even though you can try to explain ppl the vw as a good part of a grp, ppl will rarely invite you... i went around being ****** off about not joining grp, until i finally just rerolled bm for grp rvr... i would advice you to do the same man, even though you seemingly know how to play vw and you know what to do... im sure you wont be the top priority.

unless of course you have a set grp of you ppl you know will invite you. i can only speak for getting into pug's.

first of all, BM is not a retarded stick and charge classe, maybe u lack of knowledge what the role of a BM is and how to play. since BM is not as easy as you might think.
and last but not least we just give u advices, take it or lvl to 50 and stand in ligen waiting for a grp for ages.
if i group with a VW then it is during off hours, since VW is pretty good vs not that good grps, during prime time you ll basically auto loose vs good grps because ur setup sucks

Ahah please don't say bullshit... I play the role of MA for years... And is only question of choose the right target.. If you say other... You clearly play a bm and you wanna look at other that is a difficult class for look like a pro... I'm sorry, play well a bard or a druid and yes.. You can say that is a difficult class and be a pro (if you just play well one of those class good for you, i'm only happy of this because hibernia lack of good support players). If you think really that a light tank is a difficult class i don't wanna really see how you play ahah...

There is no MA in Hib nor in any other realm (maybe in bad Mid Groups), so i just guess u ve a lack of knowledge and no i dont play a BM I just know state of the Art RvR in Daoc
