Hey all, I just joined Uthgard! I played DAOC many years ago and just remembered the game recently. I joined Hib as thats what I played on the retail servers as a vampiir...

As I am starting brand new, I have no alts or other accounts to support me, and I am not playing with friends. I am totally solo to start. My question is, keeping those facts in mind, what class do you guys recommend I play to start out? I rolled a Bard last night, but I am afraid it will be difficult to get on my feet without a good group of fellow newbies to level with!

My first char here was a hero, it's nice to play to discover the servor and its people. But for the future, hero is useful for Raids, and have, most of the time, 1 slot reserved in pvp setup. That's why I would recommand you to play a BM, useful un pve and pvp, and can solo/duo/trio or group in every situation. ^^
Welcome among us :)

Welcome to Hib! I agree, BM is a very versatile class to play and learn the game, tho I am partial to my Hero for RvR and Raids. Give me a yell if you need a hand getting started.
