hey there,

i plan to create a ranger, i read in a thread that it is usually not possible to use bows 5.7 delay, so my question is whether that will be changed in future, or is that so? because I wanted to hurt really bad with the bow. otherwise i'm then prefer a hunter, who was then big advantages thanks to the animal companions who hurts much more.

so will this feature stay?

Basalt (brimstone doesnt exist)

(5.4 delay) that was the introduced delay with DR

new dropped bow still 5.4 delay

** Those are custom items... but as already stated already from some ex-gm, this is not what was the original intention of implementing this item bugged.
Delay by design
Midgard fast bows short range
Hib middle fast middle short
Alb slow delay and long range

You can use those bows now.
The problem is you don't know how they will handle the correction. If they'll simply change the new dropped ones, you'll be ok. If they decide to change all the current already dropped DF bows (not common GM behaviour usually), you might get into trouble if they decide also to correct their stats, because you template would result changed.
Since your ranger is far to be 50, 4L2 and full templated, my advice is, in case you wanna go for a sniper one, to grab one of those 5.7 speed bows and put it aside. When you will have to template it, things might have changed a bit, and you'll be able to judge if it's still worth/possible using the DF bow.
