So a Trio walks into the Hibernian class shop. What to pick?

Hi guys,

I originally was just a lone man who came to Uthgard and have an eleven level Paladin. After my positive feedback to some friends, two might be joining me. However we are wrangling over which realm/classes to be. Two seem more keen on Hibernia than I, and Albion seems the lesser pick of the three realms (my first, but the others it is last). I have a feeling Hibernia will win out so if three players walked into the Hibernian class shop, what should we walk out as? I'm probably the most flexible of the three in terms of class pick, I know one is a melee only player so I imagine he'll end up a Blade Master (and I read they are great here) and the third suggested playing a Mentalist (she has played one on the Mythic server). I was thinking maybe a Warden for myself. Would a Warden, Blade Master, and Mentalist be an effective trio for PvE and group friendly enough for RvR (mostly worried about the Mentalist there)?

Any other suggested classes?

Thanks!

Warden and BM are good in PVE and RVR but Mentalist is only really used in PVE.

Bard Druid BM is one of the best and most stable trios out there imo and all three are classes great for adding more if u need more.
Bard BM BM is nice as well, if ur bard knows that he just ve to run away and do nothing except waiting for the BMs to kill and to drop SoS and AM. But most Bards in small men just suck an start to mezz/play endu when it would be much better to just run.
For this trio u ll need some money and BPs as well since u need to run charged.
If u face a good stealther trio u ll run into problems with thta one :)

And never pick a caster in a small men that would be a pretty bad idea.

If u want to make RPs i d take Bard Druid Ranger, since as a small men u wont ve much enemies. So best way to make rps anyway is ganking stealthers which is just possible with a ranger.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. To clarify, I didn't mean we'd only be a trio, just that we wanted to be a somewhat effective trio when playing together as we would be primarily, and as group friendly as possible for when one or two might be on or to attract others to our group. I figured the Mentalist wouldn't be RvR friendly and she really prefers stealth classes over visible one's so we might have to end up going to Midgard instead (she said she's play a Skald there), or go all stealth classes if we want to be able to play with each other (I'm not a fan of them though so fighting against this idea). I'll have to bring it up in discussion and see what ends up happening.

I'm sure Midgard could use more people. :P Not like Hibernia has the lowest population at the moment. :(

If you go Mid you almost have to keep Shamy+Skald.

The thrid can be Healer, Bersi, Runemaster or Warrior, all good additions.
Healer for CC+Heals, Bersi for dmg, Rune for Utility (snarenuke, dmg, NS) and Warri for guarding/defend/dmg.

In Hib probably what Pweet said.
Bard is a must here! BM is a very good addition, or even Hero (maybe BM would fit better, but both are good).
But I would say you can chose different third slots.
Druid, Warden, BM/Hero, Eld.
Druid for Specs, Heals, CC etc, Warden for Bubble/dmg-add/AoG/TWF etc etc, BM/Hero for dmg/guard, Eld for Utility (Disease, Snarenuke, NS, dmg).

All those classes (mid or hib) are viable in every Endgame FG. Eld/RM are bit more challegning since you will face massive Chargetanks, but they are asked in most grps today.
