With 29CD and 32Pierce spec my Anytimer in Pierce line do slightly higher damage than the CD one. However it says very high penalty to defence on the Pierce one.

Can anyone enlight me weather its best to use one over the other?
Thanks

Do the extra high penalty work on uthgard then? so Squall for PvE and bumblebee for RvR?

I actually prefer Squall over Bumblebee sting. I know people say I'm nuts, but I would swear I had more swings w/ both hands when using Squall. I actually did a small test (100 styles with both styles) on this with dummies and I cant remember the exact #'s but I did see more swings with both weapons on Squall then I did on Bumblebee sting. I'm not saying that this is proof by any means, but just something I prefer.

Offhand fire rate is determined by your DW/CD spec, not what style you use. its an additional .68% per level IIRC (and you get a base %).

You quoted me... Did you see on there where I say that this is not proof? I'm just telling this person why I use squall. I know perfectly well how the formula for figuring on swings is figured. I am basically saying that all things considered both styles do essentially the same dmg etc, that I use squall because I perceive that I do more swings w/ my offhand when doing so. My 100 swing test backed that up, but I'm aware that it has ZERO to do with it. Just saying why I use squall.
