Just want to make a thread that people can introduce themselves in for Hibernia / Uthgard 2.0. I know it may be a little preemptive without a release date, but some of us are pledged to return and have NOTHING better to do !

I'll go ahead an start it....

I joined Uthgard ~1 year before it shut down, I only caught the tail end of the server. As a North American player it was rough starting here with the low population that the server had before it croaked. I had an amazing time here though and met MANY great people in Hib. I started a massive noob guild that didn't last very long (lol), but it was a ton of fun. I managed to get 2 characters to RR4 playing casually throughout the year, and had a ton of fun in the BG's and late night small man RvR in Emain. Unfortunately i never got to the higher RRs before the server shut down (it was just starting to get fun )

I will be coming here solo as my guild has decided they are coming back to play as Mids.
I will be rolling a BM for RvR, possibly a druid first for PvE... havn't decided.
I will be looking to join up with a NA RvR guild, or possibly start one if I can fall in with some other decent NA players.
I played Midgard from 2004-2013 on Merlin, and eventually Ywain, before i found Uthgard.
Im from Minneapolis, USA, and I am active during CST evening hours.
I enjoy long walks on the beach and 40 OZ's of malt liquor.

Hey everyone! I'm gonna be new to uthgard, I just found out about the DAoC freeshards not long ago. I played live from launch until not long after ToA and quit due to getting very busy with school. I've played quite a few MMO's since, and love playing front line classes, so you'll likely see my on something like a Hero or BM (possibly VW if they are any good on this patch) and dabbling in our stealth classes here and there. I have no guild, but would love to get going in one. Looking forward to the servers being up!

Have played daoc from release till today. Religiously.

Just heard about Uthgard 3 days ago.

It feels like when I found cannabis, a feeling of love and comming home.

So happy , excited.

I played Hib/Kay > Devon Cluster from release to soon after Catacombs / NF.
Ran 8man with Folex and rest of Pirate Ghost cows(us) and some Catastrophe folks.
I plan on playing a druid here

Paulberios from Bedevere, Lamorak, Gareth, Uthgard 1.0 and Origins/Genesis. Playing hib with my usual friends from Uth 1 and Genesis. Played from release, usually alb but have been hib the last 2 years.

Played on uthgard about 2 years before it crashed i believe. I've mostly only played mid and some alb.. with Paulberios actually. . I have a lot less play time now so hopefully will get a good group of people who will pull me along so I can keep a decent pace.. my playtime will differ.. I'm NA central time and my day off is random during the week. So that day definately will be crushing the xp rates and when i work from home for a week i'll try to do the same. I am just torn between playing a eldritch or melee dps/tank class. I guess i'll have to find a group of people to join and see what best suits them.

I was LordSirk on genesis mid side and had sirk in all my other toons names as well.. I'm sure i'll continue that naming scheme.

Very little. (Played live since beta on/off.. You just don't quit daoc, ever, only take breaks).
