Hey all,
I'm trying to figure out which of these 3 classes is best in RvR: VW, Champ or Hero. Specifically I am interested in burst damage potential. There is something so satisfying for me using a giant 2H weapon to hit the hardest possible - so really whoever can do that the best in the current meta is who I'd like to roll! Thanks, Tragen |

Hero with 50 in Large Weapons for 'burst' is what I've read

VW has hurge burst
DAoC's Legendary Melee Enchanter

Don't think anything in Hib can outdamage a vw side chain. But no det and little utility.

+1 with VW side chain, the 3rd hit has got a 195 pbae value.
So the dmg from this chain = 4 or 5 hits from a hero. |

Roll champ or vw, and you will have to solo.

VW has very big damage burst with positional chains and countering chains (evade and parry) but just basic anytime damage. they can do decent ranged damage too with life taps. Slam /spear hero has very big burst by doing shield slam and unleashing the spear side chain. Personally I would always go with spear over LW because you have shield slam for the stun and a spear behind snare style. also a very damaging spear parry chain. Groups like heros more than VW or champs, If you want the pure damage and dont mind being a squishy caster to Eldritch. Light eld has the best sustained damage with nukes. A void eld has the best burst with 2 bolts followed by nukes. An eld can generally kill any enemy caster with both his bolts, that enemy caster death in 4 seconds |

Champion with 50 Valor, 50 LW doing a Annihilation, DD and using WoC is probably the highest burst Hibernia has to offer. No det.
Valewalker has a strong burst as well, plus a more sustainable way of dealing it. No det. Lastly there are Heroes and BMs who are comparable in terms of burst given the right conditions. Det. BMs are the champions of consistent damage though. yes, you read that right <Vanquish>
