Hello,
I wanted to join hibernia and i am like a total newbie on DAOC. I played everquest 1 for 1 year so i know what to expect but i guess I will be really lost. Is there any kind of guide or somewhere where I could read about the most important things to know? Also, I was planning on rolling a druid, is it a good choice? Want a support role. (heal/buff/some offensive spell) Thanks in advance for the answer ! |

Welcome to DAOC and Hibernia. Search 'Prima Guides' in the forum search box and that might help you out quite a bit as someone with no DAOC experience. As for your class choice druid is very good as a starter. Group friendly and not as dependent on gear. Your role will be buffing and healing with an occasional root(immobilization). Druids have some offense and a pet but don't expect to deal great damage. I'd be happy to answer any more questions you may have and would welcome you to join our guild if you are interested.

Welcome to DAoC.
Here are a few links to help get you by in your endeavors. http://elvin.net/daoc/ - Great list of maps for Hibernia. Including frontiers, dungeons and all of the mainland. http://camelot.allakhazam.com/Horse_Routes.html - Exactly what it sounds like. Tells you what horses to where. ( Use this with the above maps to learn hibernia and where to jump / bind etc. ) http://camelot.allakhazam.com/Epic_List2.html - Epic list 2 is the list of old epic quests. Will also tell you what classes have the same quest line. Good for getting decent gear and filling in gaps when you aren't able to find a group quickly. Also - don't allow your group to steal another groups camp. Still very shocked to this day the amount of people that want to try to steal camps. ![]() |

If he's played EQ, then he should know it's bad to steal camps
