Hi all,

I recently deleted my 40+ alb toon to come roll on Hib. I am now level 20, but for the most part, it has been a relatively lonely experience. I have not played on Mid yet, so I am not sure about there, but in Alb, throughout Camelot hills, Sali Plains, Lyoneese, DM, etc. I always seen many other people running around, leveling, grouping etc.

However, so far in Hib, I really do not see many people. I have been leveling around Mag Mel, and the zones next to it and it just seems so completely empty. Even the city itself (While there are people there) just seem much more devoid of people than Camelot.

Is this normal? Am I just in the wrong zones where most people level? More curious than anything.

Thanks!

Welcome to the underpopulated realm! :)

The starter zones are not packed like they were in the first 2 weeks, but most of the popular camps are still taken during prime time, or at least I still ppl all over the place when riding horses here and there.

We're 1 month in, I think you're just finding yourself behind the main wave of players who are now 35+. Areas around Mag Mell and Ardee are only good up to lvl 10 and ppl spread out after that. Most of the great camps after lvl 20 are pretty far off the beaten path, but grps r still there.

But again, having 200-300 less ppl than other realms can't really go unnoticed.

Welcome to Hibernia!

Pretty much ^^^ there are plenty of us grouping. Especially 30+. It was easier if you started 3 weeks ago. My friends have been trying to convince me to switch realms but we are gonna stick it out. Id say about 25%-28% are hibs in the overall population. Use the LFG and depends on ehat class you play.

Spraggon Den should be a good spot to get groups at your level.

Definitely use the LFG tool! Around level 8+ is when the group invites/contacts become more of a regular thing. During more popular times of the day there have been endless opportunities, and it doesn't seem to be class-restrictive either (I've had fairly equal success on a Bard, Hero and Animist -- my highest character is lvl 19, so the lower levels are still very active).

So, I am curerntly level 24. For the past 5 levels, I have been grouping in the Spraggon Den. I know when I get closet to 30, Treibh Caillte will be a good dungeon to level at. However, at any given time there is only 1-2 groups in the dungeon, and if they don't need your class, well, your just out of luck.

To not be reliant on just dungeons, what zones do people level in most 25+? On Alb, Cornwall and Lyonesse were always heavily populated with people and was relatively easy to find groups for ranging from basically level 20+.

Are there any zones where I should start camping my char to try and find groups to not be reliant on running the same dungeon night after night?

spraggon / treb ent / koalinth are your only options

at 24 id stay in sprag because if theres no group you can solo

at 30 go to treb

at 35 go to CM

at 44 go to fins in CF

I would tell you to go to DF but we never have it because hibs care more about being legendary crafters then RVR

Well, I am a Nurture druid, so my solo is non existent. Grouping in Spag Den is pretty bad as if I get a group, I am then in a full group (or close to it) killing yellows and oranges.

I will check out the other places you mentioned.. Seems strange there inst a more popular zone that everybody goes to to level for certain ranges though.

You really should be small man pve-ing. Get a duo or trio going and the xp should be better than in a group. (IMHO). If you are a nurture druid, just get a mana chanter and mana ment and trio you way to levels and riches via pet focus pulling.

Hey tippsy. I just ran my VW to Sprag Den. If you are on later today.. like 4-5 hours from this post, I would gladly group with you.

If not in Sprag Den, well, shoot one of my toons a PM and we'll see what we can do (names of toons in sig)

Don't be scared to check out Koalinth Caverns! Good drops in there, and good groups. Use the LFG tool, and ask in /gu. Do a /who Koal, and you should find something to do!
