Dear Hibernians,


because CG and BGs are only a limited try to get Hibernia together, i´ve set up a discord channel for us Hibernians for a longer solution to improve the communication between guilds & allys & Hibs.

You can find it under: : https://discord.gg/Jnue7Sb , called Uthgard-Hibernia. There are various text and voice chats for different topics (like lfg, trading, general, classes, raids, groups etc.)

It´s a small project, but perhaps it has more success than a 24/7 CG ingame. Come, join and fill our hibernian Discord-Channel.

Rules

Verify my status

Everyone who is new to this server has to "verify" his/her status that he/she can use all functions and all channels. Why? Because we want to decrease a x-realm possibility as much as possible.
How can i verify myself? Just send a ingame message to one of our admins (yellow/gold colored names) with your discord name.

Discord nicknames

It would be really great, if you could use your ig main character name or the current char you´re right playing.
Also it would help other people to know, in which guild you are. You could use <Guildname> or [Guildname] behind your name.

Discord Roles

There are 8 roles atm:
- Midgard/Albion: less access to channels & functions
- Everyone: new player without verified status, less access to channels & functions
- Hibernian: verified player. Full member of this server
-Guildleader: Same rights as the Hibernian role, only for additional information
-Alliance-lead: Same rights as the Hibernian role, only for additional information
- Raidlead: Additional rights in voice chats to control the communication better
- Admin: Role with full rights. Can verify players and change the settings on channels etc.

We need some more Admins for different time zones atm.

If you´re a guild – and/or alliance leader, send one of our admins to get the GL/AL roles.

Changed Tradechat CG to Global-Talk-Trade-LFG-Channel CG as Hibernia wide channel for Trade/LFG/Talk.

Why not setup a discord for a 24/7 cg? Just keep RVR talk out of it?

How can ypu manage alb/mid spy coming on it ?

This is a good idea, at least the trading cg, not too sure about the rvr bg, and I'd like to see it succeed.

If there is none, you gotta make it, otherwise it will never last.

sry doble post. had to refresh the link and set it on permanent.

I ran a RvR BG all day saturday and then had to take a break for awhile. Turned out to be saturday nigth and rest of sunday but going to be working on keeping a RealmRvR BG going when I am on. Would be nice if someone started this themselves but seems no one else interesting in running it, can be frustrating at times.

In any event, expect more Hib RealmRvR bg's going on in the future. We did well imo on saturday with everyone using it for sharing info, making groups and creating a zerg when we needed one.
