Been playing DAoC since November 2001 so I guess Im sort of a veteran. I just came across this server when Kungen was streaming it and bumped the viewers up to over 1000 so I noticed it. Normally I dont get into these servers, which is why I never messed with that WoW Nostalrius server, nor any of those Everquest progression servers. However, when looking back at DAoC, this game was actually better in the first few years it was out. Also back then I was still raiding EQ pretty hardcore so I didnt get to play this game as much as I wanted. I think when I finally started playing DAoC more than EQ was after ToA was already out. By the time I finally leveled up to 50 it wasnt long before New Frontiers came out so this is actually all new to me.

I know Im kinda late to the party but I figure better late than never. Anyways I will be playing a Blademaster and look forward to killing some filthy Mids/Albs.

Alright got a nice new set of armor. Now just need to kill task a lot so I can get gold to weapon craft me something better than this green piercer i got at lvl 2. Saw some cheep crafted ones in housing around level 10 but cant afford them yet.

even at low levels grouping is ridiculous. Everyone is a Enchanter/Menta team. Have a group of 2x BM and Druid now but no one wants to join us lol.

Personally I don't even bother looking for groups at the moment. I find the majority of the people I run across LFG are just after a free PL.(I play chanter)

from your OP I am glad to see I am not the only Nov 01 guy playing though. And like you I did not really get into the game right away. Didn't really settle into playing DAoC till just after housing. Hope you enjoy the game now.

Grouping can get hard merely cause we are the low pop realm so folks go for the easiest way to lvl. If you guys need, I have a bard in the lower area of lvls, would be more than welcome joining you guys. I believe my bard is around lvl 10, feel free to pm me anytime.

Well my niece was over last night and I learned a valuable lesson. Never leave caracter select screen up with little kids around. She was really proud of the fact she could type YES in the delete box. Oh well I was only level 16 with like 10 gold to my name so no big loss. Might try Warden this time around. Always wanted to play one. Seems kinda like a Friar but S/S instead of Staff.
