you can´t affort neither non-capped matter resist nor hp.
20 hp ain´t much , but it adds up. dots = matter/body . and viper3 is pretty much everywhere^^
mids gonna hit you with 90% crush - so your missing a point there too.just 1% but you better max it out. usually you just do only 1 sc - so take your time.no need to hurt yourself more than needed.especially vs multiple enemies every bit of hp counts.

a popular trick is to neglect capped envenom and only switch it in (to cap) via +envenom items. that should cover it.

you can still switch in charge items - there is absolute no need to waste precious sc slots with crap just cause it has got a charge you only have to activate every 10 minutes. the proc on that armorpiece will pay off sooner or later.

hands+boots are the cheapest available mps - you could get a leather mp gloves really really cheap. that could fix the missing resists if you switch around a bit.

looking at the advantage of not having to switch gear makes 1% of crush resist (remember I'm luri + 5 base crush resists) and 4% to matter really is no big deal

remember: not having to switch gear means you can kite, reapply poisons, stealth, PA without having to switch to bad gear which might leave other stats / resists low while doing so - this has come in handy for me A LOT of times while in BGs and I bet it will in agra too

also - having +11 env gives 0 variance on dots because i will always have 50 combined env - also it gives the advantage that i can't be caught "off guard" while reapplying dots - who wants to get jumped by an inf/scout/minstrel(lol)/SB/hunter while u got that foot on that doesn't give you capped in everything

and arguing that 16 hits is a big loss - just ROFL! - 16 hits is what.. bleed from PA chain?

oh well :p I run with this and do very well with it (just ask some of the guys in Agra I'm killing as RR3L9(now 4L1)
in between there is a few higher RR people - so :) GL salbei with your ani and GL maidrion with whatever you play atm. because this is one little happy NS with great gear :)

i think -1 in a resist is not a problem ( that wont change your life), but that's true you miss some resists in matter and energy ( that s always nice to wake up a bit sooner when a sorc mezz you)

i don't understand why you get only a 99% right hand if you don't cap everything.

and i agree with the switching for envenom. you put 4 points on your equipment , and 7 points on another piece, that s easy to switch and you should cap everywhere.

anyway good luck with crafting... i am happy to not have to do it again... even if i should maybe

Well i dont know why you're rude to Salbei... He just told you how to improve your template...
Of course 16 hps 3 matter and 2 energy more wont make you immortal. But once per 100 fights you will die when your enemy is on 1-2% and well... It your fault:D

im not rude anywhere xD im just trying to show how unimportant 3-4 resists are - esp. in energy / matter xD

but suit yourself guys :) I like my template and I'm killing people xD

and yes - he did try to tell me how to improve, but I already stated my reasons for not capping matter + energy - but ty salbei, however your "advices" wont be a part of any of my templates on Uthgard :)

and saying those 3-4 % in matter will save me from death is silly compared to all the times having 11 env and no varience on dot will help me kill

i think theres no need for rude words.
the point is that :

what salbei wrote is right and true , and i think he just wanted to help and give his two cents , wether if he plays an animist or not, what he wrote is
worth to think about, but its ab tricky way to play and not even simple but if properly used very effective.

on the other hand nixian tried to do a template EASY to use and without any REAL weakness.
i think he knows for sure what salbei wrote and tried to do an template thats all-time-ready template including the loss of SOME stats, but with losses which are worth the flexibility you win.

I personal think assasins are my most favourite class, but quite difficult to play, especially low RR.
if u can concentrate on your target, your positioning and your styles and open your fight without thinking about gear-switching it may be an advantage ,especially for non-24/7 players who are not so perfect in their "playerskill" with that assassin. (not anyone has an assa as main-char)
and for such person may nixions temp work better than a maxed out switch temp, when they half the time forget their envenom items :)

i think they are both right in their personal view -
anybody can decide what fits for him.

stay calm guys ,

greetings

have u take a look at nixian's avatar... even if owned he claims still being right :P

+1 on blunt resistance in leather armor is a must
+ as salbei said every hit point extra counts
+ since a ns will commonly fight stealther units cap resist against dots is a must at least before rr5

dots variance >> dots is fixed base dmg - resist
