The Vae Inimicus Caduceus Friar staff that drops in Catacombs of Cardova cannot be salvaged (provides a "you cannot salvage this item" message when you try to).
1. Get a Vae Inimicus Caduceus staff to drop in Catacombs.
2. Try to salvage it (and yes, I have enough skill: 1k+ woodworking).
3. Be sad when you can't. :(
Change the staff so that it can be salvaged for materials like other staves.
No evidence beyond the common sense argument that it should be able to be salvaged. ;)
