Fletchers can be given a crafting task for heavy shod staff. Unfortunately, the item Hibernian fletchers can craft is the Heavy Shod Staff (note case difference) which is considered a different item for purposes of completing the task, thus these tasks are impossible.
1. Attain fletching skill needed to be assigned a heavy shod staff (I first was assigned one at 580 fletching)
2. Randomly receive task for heavy shod staff from fletching master Arziqua in Tir na Nog.
3. Be unable to complete said task with the Heavy Shod Staff that you are able to create
Craft tasks for heartwood heavy shod staff and runewood heavy shod staff should not be offered in Hibernia. Tasks for the makable items heartwood Heavy Shod Staff and runewood Heavy Shod Staff ARE available as well and should continue to be offered.
I presume crafting tasks are intended to be possible to complete.
