I am alchemist 1000+ . I crafted 2 weapon luster for my hammers but i can't combine colours on them.
Both hammer are crafted by player and i have already punt on them gem of spellcrafting and alchemist proc. Why i can't put luster? Pick the luster up, drop it on the weapon. Voila !

Btw anyone can add lusters to weapons, you don't need any tradeskills to do so.
