Hi all,

I have a few questions if someone could answer please.

1) I have maxed my Dex out lvl 31 hunter and my bow damage still is very poor, how do i increase the Crit rate?

2) What is a good hunter spec for Brae and lvl 50?

3) With regard to realm abilities what would you reccomend i get starting from the 1st most important one to least.

thanks in advance

Falcon's Eye RA.
Hawkster wrote:2) What is a good hunter spec for Brae

35 bow 27 stealth 21 BC (at 35)
Hawkster wrote:and lvl 50?

50 BC 35 stealth 45 bow 8 spear, add your heart out until RR7+ then respec to full melee to kill off soloers.

MoS3, purge2, Falcon's eye.

Not all goodies in BC are for the pet.

Yup, 50 BC because of the pet.

...

wow...

Just. Wow.

The Hunter pet does not scale in ability with BC beyond level 32. This is not live.

I know retard it was sarcasm, hence the /clue. I didn't have pets in mind at all with 50 BC spec.

Yeah, right. Sorry I couldn't see the shining brilliance of your wit.

So you think it's actually worth it to completely gimp one's melee ability in exchange for some extra + dex/qui and slightly faster speed shout? This is possibly the worst advice for a Hunter I have ever read.

Well he could listen to your advice, fail at everything then resort to the forums and perpetually whine about how bad their class is.

Focus on bow and spear with a decent balance of stealth and BC as secondary skills.

I do think MOS3 first is the way to go as it will prevent the assasins from sneaking up on you but Purge1 and IP2 should be your next abilities to actually survive the assasins.

You don't even play a Hunter, and you've demonstrated many times that you have no idea what you're talking about. "Add your way to RR7" what kind of worthless advice is that?

Hawkster, take Mos3, purge1, IP2, and remember to have camo up when you are stealthed. Know that speccing beyond 32 BC requires a huge investment in points for only a tiny amount of gain.

In terms of Brae spec edit: Listen to Rigowen. :)

I currently use the bow from DF seals as is most of my gear at the moment. Is this bow poor?

I was going for brae 27 stealth 35 bow 12 bc and rest in spear.. Maybe ill respec later and go for more BC

So MOS3 and IP2 over Augmented Dex and Falcons Eye then?

Yeah he could take up your halfassed specs/tactics and look for assassins with 10% chances of winning a fight, or rangers with 0% chance of winning a fight. That should get him started off on the right foot :-) have fun.
