Whatever you do just make sure to never duo with a SB, or you won't be able to kill Rangers.

True, just roll a SB and doublefrost your way to RR10.

A lot of people have said dont bother with hunters, are they really that bad?

Its taken me over a month to get to lvl 30 lol, i dnt really want to start again.

Can any lvl 50 hunter let me know how they are in RVR or are they really that bad?

They're bad because they don't know how to pick fights. Most run around in hybrid specs (a little bit of everything) chasing after assassins or rangers.

Truth is you should add as much as possible at low-mid RRs. Don't pay attention to soloers who say adding is gay etc. because 90% of them will add any chance they get, they just don't like it when they get added and die.

Hunters are ok. You will have fun on 'good' days. It can be a very rewarding class to play as it is by no means fotm.

If your idea of fun is leaching your first 2 million RPs from other people, at about 200-300 RPs per kill, for the first ten thousand kills or so then by all means use this bizzare 'adding' spec of Funkling's that will get you destroyed by anything and everything that gets past your bow. You will ****** off the realm mates you kill steal from, and develop a wonderful reputation amongst your enemies in the process.

When speccing your Hunter remember that the whole strength of the class is in its ability to spec high in both bow and a weapon skill. The class is designed to be a hybrid. So spec however you like in bow and spear, but make sure you spec in both. Otherwise you are just a gimp Scout with an inferior bow and no shield, or a wannabe Ranger with terrible styles, an inferior damage setup (two-hand vs. dual wield), and an inferior bow.

Like I said, ignore the people who make threats if you add because most of them do it too.

You may also consider ignoring people who don't actually play this class.

A fair number of people don't add (<3), and If I myself knew of a person who actively does what Funkling is suggesting, I would dedicate at least 50% of my play time to following them around and then crossrealming to the other two realms and telling everyone where that person is all the time.

So to the original poster: unless you want me to get banned, please don't take his advice. :(

these are the hunter tactics, decreasing from best to worst

1. level another char after you reached the cap in thid - perfect. this is what 90% of the players do.
2. duo with a sb - works great if you have mos IV or V
3. run with a small group - works if you can find such a group and if you have mos V
4. run solo in DF and snipe on lvlers - works until someone logs a ns/ranger/inf then 4. turns into 5.
5. run solo in agra - suddenly you have a lot of friends on enemy realms. everyone dreams of meeting a solo hunter. you can try to kite, you can try to exploit the engine and land a backstun, the chance to win is still low.
6. go to keep fights - works. problem: there isn't any.
7. camp gates in agra and add - just to show how desperately you wanting those rp and can't get them otherwise? :x

Yes, that bow is poor. The quality rating is 89%. You should get a player crafted bow that is 99%. That will give you an immediate 10% boost to damage.

What kind of arrows are you using?

If you see me in game give me a tell and I will help as much as I can.
