Hi all,

I'm having a bit of trouble playing the game. I find it hard to get with the spec that I want and I need some help with it. Also I dont really know how to set up the quickbars in the most efficient way.

let me list my specs as what they are atm and in red what I wanted it to become:

Praidos Level 39
Stealth - 30 + 9 - 37
Slash - 30 + 9 - 0
Thrust - 2 + 4 - 50
Critical Strike - 34 + 1 - 44
Dual Wield - 16 + 4 - 20
Envenom - 22 + 3 - 34

My realm ability's are:
Mastery of Stealth
Vanish
Mastery of Pain III

I do think that I have messed up my character as I want to play as a venomblade. How can I fix this end template a bit to get it to work?
When I reach 40 my plan was to use the respec on slash to set it on thrust.



Another thing I have trouble with is the quickkeybar. How should I set it up? Atm I use it like this: first Hamstring (evade style) then for instance Garrote. So that would be button 3 and after that button 1. This will make Garrote as backup for Hamstring. Is this a good tactic or not?
Bellow is a screenshot of what my screen looks like, pls note the quickbar and how "YOU" should set it up. People probably gonna say its best how the way you like it, but I dont and I changed it a few times.

For instance PA is on 4, its a bit out of reach when I try to attack and walk at the same time.

I hope some fellow stealthers can help. pls dont come ****** in this thread "infi's are overpowerd" "dont spec poison (because you hate them so much" etc. infiltraters have it hard enough to. It takes a whole lot of patience to pick and kill a target. (at least for me).

for PA, i used to use it with mouse, that's easier to do when you move to be face on your oponent, but maybe that depend the way of moving that you use...

so lot of the shorcuts I dont get. also the /qbind command is new to me.

Has anyone has a idea about the spec? Because I dont think my final spec (in red) isnt really suited for a venomblade.
oh and I didn't use autotrain since I don't know how it works.

Edit: venomblade as in a stealther speced on viper and high poison use

On all my assassins so far, i used 4 bars...

2nd with RAs and extraskills
3rd with macros and pots

and on the 1st i had stealth as 1, pa/bs 2/3, cd/tc 4/5, and 6-10 positional styles for leech
and then shift+2 and the positionals remained, but the first 5 were full with garotte/ahiles heal, detaunt and afterevadecombo

How exactly do you fill 10 spots with active RAs as an infi/SB?

he said RAs and extra skills

this could be stuff like dot charges also he never said it was 100% full

And delete the last ";" from your signature, then the empty line will gone :p

About the build (heard rumors 9sec fang will come with 1.65, if the community not whine to death (yeah mythic removed the 9sec stun later but like paladin got celerity too and?...) Anyway so lvl 50 build:

Thrust 50
CS 44
steath 36
envenom 36
DW(rest) 14

or

Thrust 50
CS 39
steath 36
envenom 36
DW(rest) 24

or maybe w/o df:

Thrust 36
CS 50
steath 36
envenom 36
DW(rest) 29

You will be rr4L2 when you reach lvl 50, so your envenom and stealth will 36+14 (with items)

I'm terribly sorry but I still don't get how /qbind works, I'm gonna search the forums now and see if I can find some guide/instruction on how to use it. (i will edit if I know or still don't know)

Ok I've settled it I'm going for that spec, and all the realm ability points I get are going as of now straight to viper. (good idea?)

Edit: Ok I just checked the ingame instructions....
I know I know, it should be very easy but I just dont get it *smashes head on the table*

"There are no Keys currently set as quickbinds.

Usage:/qbind [[qbar bank#] [qbar slot#] [qbar#(defaults to 1)]
Example: "/qbind 1 2 1" to bind quickbar bank #1 slot #2 in bar #1 to a key.

Use: "/qunbind # # #" to remove a quickbinding."

What I dont get: wat is the bank? is bank for example <1>? and slot the regular numbers? bar are the 3 bars you can choose from right?

Viper well.. Personally i never liked it (when i started it wasn't work here anyway). But it's a very powerful RA, and w/o remedy you will need it in the first times

Type:
/qbind Qbar# Slot#
Press enter
Press the key you want to bind to the action.

Example, let's suppose you want to bind the 3rd slot of the 1st quickbar to "P"
/qbind 1 3
Enter
P

That's all.
